I have windows movie maker and that's about the only thing I could get to work without causing chaos I think

the problem is more the deciding what pictures or clips to use, how to arrange them and stuff like that
I'm a perfectionist and I just know I wouldn't be happy with whatever I can come up with

Maybe I'll give it a try and just not post it though.....

I might be able to write something though.....I guess I could try that

Good luck with that. I'm like the worlds worst Techie. I'm actually good at what I do, but when it's not work related I've got no patience to learn something unless it's something that fascinates me. For example, there are all these WYSIWYG html editors out there using Java to build websites and when I do one I still open up a text editor and type it all in by hand. Never bothered to learn the new tools, no interest in doing so. If SFW guys want me to use somethng they've got to make it uber intuitive or I just walk away. lol

Oh I really have no idea what I'm doing so I'm stumbling my way through it. I may try and write something up just to have an extra chance. I honestly don't expect to win tho. But it can't hurt to try.

I hear ya'. If I had any skill outside of writing I'd go for it, but lacking that I'll just stick with a story.

You know you shouldn't count yourself out though, everyone has their own style and while some folks may seem more polished that doesn't mean their story is any better. One of my favorite writers for Bones FF is a Brazilian lady who's written English is rough at best, so she frequently makes mistakes of tense and grammar that would drive a lot of native english speakers nuts but when I read her work I can easily overlook all that because the story itself is so well done. Thematic elements count as much as sound and sense in my book. Anyway I bet you'll write a killer story kitten.
