is it just me being a bit paranoid/strange/whatever, but doesn't she look super skinny in this pic? I mean you can see her breast-bone. She's still curvy and awesome, but pretty skinny for her right?

please, I don't want this turning into a massive hooha about anything, but I just need people to tell me I'm going nuts/not going nuts and i'll shut up and go back to admiring the pretty.

I don't know really. I mean, I get what you're saying - totally - but that could just be the dress - check this one out, no sternum showing at all.

No worries, I think it's hard for me to tell because one of the first places a woman loses weight in the chest area is the bosom and hers don't look appreciably smaller. Like you said, she's got curves in all the right places, in fact I love this pic because you can see that she's got a real woman's figure, and she's not sculpted like some plastic surgeon's wet dream.

FYI for the ladies, regardless of what you might think the man (men) in your life might not notice you changing your hair styled three times in one month, but he will notice immediately if you gain or lose weight. Don't expect them to say anything, self preservation instincts are too well ingrained in most of us to do something that stupid, but he will notice. Now you may ask yourself, why does he pick up on my jeans being the teensiest bit snug and miss the fact that I cut my hair? Because he's a man, and men don't spend 8 hours a day looking at your hair.

First of all, that pic is from the 2007 Golden Globes. And second, yes, she is skinnier. She lost weight unintentionally during the first and second seasons of Bones because she was really stressed out and trying to adjust to the rigorous shooting schedule of a primetime television drama. She eventually adjusted well and got back on track to a healthier weight, as we can see now.

Wanna know something funny, Rob? My husband is actually the opposite of the men you described. He doesn't notice when I lose weight (well, he did this year 'cuz I lost like a TON) and he always notices when my hair changes. Guess he's a rarity among men then...at least according to your description.

I can tell you any and every change in my gf's figure (all positive since I've convinced her food is not the enemy) but I swear the last time I noticed she got her hair done was when someone told me to notice. My friends are the same...maybe it's an either/or, like we either notice hair or body changes, not both? And trying to notice both probably taxes the system and our brains crash!

we even learned that in biology in school
it's just how a male brain functions, but their visual thinking is supposed to be a lot better then that of women (that's why they can park a car and women cannot......although I can park just fine, but I'm lost with anything else that requires visual thinking.....)

As much as I love Emily, and that's tons, and as biased as I am when it comes to her? I have gone on record numerous times when her wardrobe selection was less that stellar...a potato sack dress comes to mind *shudder* anyway, this isn't one of those times. She looks good in that dress. And speaking of good...


I used to have a real thing for Jennifer Morrison when House first aired, but then Bones came on TV and that was all she wrote, I became Emily's man all the way.
