Eek! They've read the book! And the misapprehension is about the first case. Not Sweets' conclusion that they love each other? (although maybe that too?!).

This is actually really interesting. I mean, if you think about, they really didn't like each other very much in the beginning. But there was something even bigger, aside from their general differences they've learned to get over for the past few years? I can't imagine them actually hating each other, though.

And also, I'm just curious here. I guess we'll have to wait until more details come out, but if the 100th episode is about flashing back to their first case together, why will we be seeing Cam as a coroner back in NY? I mean, I like her now and everything, but I don't see how that could be connected to the case.

Yeah, when I saw that they'd seen the book ... they are following through on that! I thought it'd just end up dropping, but now to find it as a reason for the flashback - that seems pretty cool to me. I hope they make it worth the while!

I only skimmed the sides for the episode before, but did it seem like Sweets was having a feeling of 'life is too short' to anyone else? ... which may explain why he published his book with the revelation that he believes they love each other - to give them the final push they need.

Maybe Cam was the corner on the case that haunts Booth? Or maybe Booth and Cam were dating back then ( the first time around?).
Sweets was kinda reticent to publish the book with his conclusion that Booth/Brennan loved each other, he told Gordon-Gordon that he didn't think it was his place. Anyone wonder if he changed it?
Glad they are saying that Zack will be back, It would be kinda offputting to not have him there.

Does anyone else think that episode 99 is going to be HUGE as far as development in the B&B relationship? I thought it was going to be after reading the sides but if they read Sweets' book and are not freaking out about the conclusion that they are in love with each other, I'm thinking we are going to see a lot of progress in their relationship from now until episode 100.

maybe the conclusion of the book isn't that they are in love with each other, maybe sweets changed the end of it, he did express reservations about publishing it with that conclusion in it, so it would make sense if he took it out. I'm hoping not and that there is a huge leap in their relationship coming, but since I'm a hope for the best prepare for the worst kinda gal, I'm going with Sweets changed the ending.

I thought that Booth and Brennan hated eachother because Brennan "solved" the case jut by the X-rays, and Booth didn't give her credit. I'm gonna have to go rewatch the Pilot...

He says that in the last case they worked together ( before cleo), she basically solved the case using just x-rays, that doesn't mean it was also the first case they worked together. It is possible that they worked together more than once prior to the pilot, I think it's made even more possible by the fact that this episode is going back a year before the pilot.
I don't think either one of them ever actually said what it was that made them irritate each other at first, we as an audience assumed it was because he didn't believe her when she gave him the info ( and at the time for the writers I'm sure that was also true). I think it's a believable rewrite though.

OK, so I read the story over on FF.net by thanx4thegum, and her story mentioned pg 187, and I read somewhere else about page 187. I'm assuming this is a page in her book, but, I'm unsure..

I guess thinking about it all, it kind of makes sense that they'd hate each other in the beginning. I mean, I'm assuming Booth wasn't the first agent to request help from the Jeffersonian team. Brennan was the logical, empirical, somewhat cold and distant scientist way more than she is now. Booth was cockier and, well, assuming he wasn't the first agent that was sent, he had probably heard tales of just what kind of person they all thought Brennan was, and he figured out how to push her buttons.
What I'm wondering about is if they'll be able to get all the hair/clothing/general characterness right from way back. I mean, I know it sounds wierd, but I adored Bren/Emily's s1 hair most of the time, and I guess most of them really aren't that different so it shouldn't be too hard.
I'm hoping Sweets didn't change the conclusion. I understand if he did, but didn't he say something about not feeling right about releasing such personal information without them knowing/admitting it first? So either A-we get what we want sooner, B-Sweets changed the ending or C-HH and Co just don't care and will let the fact he said that slide. Still, with the way things have been going, I really do feel like something has to happen this season, and I don't mean in the last five minutes of the finale.

Page 187 refers to a page in her latest novel, I believe, and it's supposed to deliver a bomshell of some kind if you operate on the belief that Brennan is Kathy and Booth is Andy. According to my calculations, Blue Line is ep 99. I could be wrong, but I calculated that ep 16 this season should be 100 so ep 15, which is Blue Line, would be ep 99.

here's where I get them

they are all conveniently located in order on the right side of the screen under the header "Season V titles and links to sides"
basically they are excerpts from scripts that are used to cast the guest stars and extras on the show.
When new ones come out they quite often get posted here in the spoiler section as well.
