Re: New Charity Hockey Event
The Kings game is going on now, so this game should be starting pretty soon. I don't know if this was already in another article but I saw this:
During the Kings game, fans will have the opportunity to purchase "special drawing tickets" for a suggested donation of $10 toward winning select jerseys "off the backs" of participating celebrities.
I wonder how much I'd have to offer to be allowed to take it off DB's back!?

Re: New Charity Hockey Event
I was looking around trying to find some pics of this event. Didn't see any of those, but I did find a link where the game was being streamed Live while they were playing. Now it's showing the highlights, although from the few minutes I've been on it looks almost like they're going to show the whole thing.

they have 3 teams! That obviously went down before Gary Bettman was involved...
Well it wasn't exactly a 'traditional' game either...I'm not sure what type of draw the Kings generally get. It almost sounded like Luc Robitaille was getting booed, but it could've just been muffled background noise. It doesn't make sense to me why he would get booed there.

Re: New Charity Hockey Event
^ Actually I think it was quiet because it was a charity game. I saw Luc give one in Toronto for another charity. It was REALLY quiet then too. If this was an actual NHL, regulation game? I have a feeling it would have been a LOT louder.
I was also getting irked at Cuba but hey the man got a hat trick on his b-day so I GUESS I can forgive him this once, lol.
