That whole thing with the stove reminded me of my grandma. She used to live with us and we were always totally paranoid of her getting close to the gas stove. We closed the valve every time after we cooked.

Damn, they really are selling me Sweets this season. I mean I loved him before but jeez, him staying with Pops? I just melted.

Booth brings pops to work with him, pops says he doesn't need a babysitter, and pops wants to hang out with temperance. Sweets says that pops wouldn't stand a chance against him in dominos and they get him to stay with sweets using reverse psychology.

Booth is going to interrogate Meg's roomate, Booth wonders if he should take a leave of absence, she asks if he can afford to do that, he says pops will think that he doesn't love him.

The roomate ( stephanie?) is mad that Meg used her insurance and cheated on the bet. she says that booth is never gonna believe her and now she has to pay for a lawyer too.

Clark finds a fracture with resin on it. Hodgins discovers it's from teak wood, the finials from the teak bed are missing. Meg was beaten using the finials from the bed. Howard Fileman ( the homeowner) , caught Meg and Hugo having sex in the bed he made for him and his wife, and beat them with the finials.

I think that this episode is the best episode ever in Bones!

Sweets seems to be a regular babysitter for Booth's family (remember Parker: Are you my babysitter?) So when Brennan an Booth have children, I know who will entertain them!

So how does it rate?

Booth/Pops eating chinese ( or thai?) Pops tells Booth that it means a lot that he is there with Booth and that he turned out to be a good man, he says " I don't want ya to think I don't love ya.... but I gotta go back" Booth asks what about the orderlies, Pops says they are used to being hit by him LOL. He already called the home and they know that he is coming back. He asks if Booth and Brennan can take him back.

Brennan says she'll miss Hank, and he asks Booth to give them a minute, he tells her that Booth is gonna need somebody and that she needs to be strong and not be scared.

He tells Booth that everything he needs to know is "in there" and points to his heart. He tells Booth to just do what it tells you. Big hug and a fist bump!
B/B Booth asks what pops said to Bones, she says he said good-bye, she asks him what pops said to him and he says that pops told him to be a good boy.

Booth makes a somewhat strange comment about her necklace
" I like that thing around your neck,"
Brennan "what?"
Booth "the thing that your wearing around your neck, I like it"
Brennan " you've seen it before"
Booth "I don't think so"

First I want to thank you all. you did a great job as always.

I don't know what it was but there were these guys standing around talking about a data plan that the one guy bought for his phone and then the phone starts ringing and they can't figure out what the ringing is cause they only know the IM/text sounds ........It was supposed to be funny but the fact that they didn't understand that there was call coming in did not make me laugh.... it made me irrationally angry LOL

Well, to be honest, I liked last week's better. Much, much better. Particularly the ending -this week didn't really do it for me. I thought I'd like pops a lot better than I did. He just seemed kind of a predictable shipper character...not an actual character.
