I figure they'll use Hacker as a foil for Booth, in much the same way as David was used in S1. David came into the picture during Two Bodies in the Lab and left at the beginning of The Woman in Limbo. So we get Hacker showing up here and leaving when? Not soon enough for me, but I imagine he'll be around a few episodes. It would be interesting if Booth & Brennan have their first truly meaningful kiss while she's still dating Hacker, effectively making Booth the other man and Brennan a cheater! Ooh the ramifications of that one! Twisted Evil

Oh, and to the Fringe lover a few pages back--there is a Fringe thread in the Non-Bones Topics forum! That's my other show. Tonight, I was a little distracted, however...

Tell me about it. I'll have to watch Fringe tomorrow since I had to pay more attention to Bones tonight. I had to watch it more than once, just to make sure I absorbed everything and even then...

slow is okay, as long as we see some progress every episode and NO GOING BACK!
I don't think The Man With The Big Forehead was all that bad.....I didn't like him, but she didn't even kiss him or anything, so I guess I can live with him......and we got the whole 'ours'-talk to make up for Hacker being there.....

I knew they wouldn't kiss in the end....but still I sat here and was like 'come on just a tiny little bit closer......some more....only another inch......'
but of course nothing happened......it was a great scene though even without a kiss

I almost felt like he was stalking prey during the end scene, they started out on opposite sides of the room, and then ended up in each others face, and I gotta say I kinda liked it, even without a kiss LOL

I did enjoy the episode - and more than I thought I would. I think so many people had been negative about it (not on this board but on the Boneyard) and it was getting me down a bit beforehand, despite me trying to remain positive.

Although I'm not one of these people who nearly has a heart attack if Brennan or Booth dares go on a date with a 3rd party, I have to say, though, that I really, really did not like the casting of Hacker. No chemistry at all between him and Brennan/ED.

I really enjoyed the episode. I found the case interesting, and I actually liked Daisy! Yes, she's annoying but I find Carla Gallo's portrayal of her so endearing!

I did love the end scene. Even if some people think it's considered cheesy or contrived! I still held my breath at the near kiss!

Although I didn't dislike S4, I'm definitely loving S5 even more! Such a shame there's a wait til the next episodes!

NOW!! This is what I call a sexy woman. She might be a little heavier than previously, but to me she looks stunning. So much class and dignity without looking trampish. Emily is just gorgeous. In all my years of watching TV, I have never ever seen a better looking couple.

He's a guy--he probably did look. But he's also discreet and gentlemanly, so you won't catch him looking! Laughing

And I didn't notice the see-through aspect until you mentioned it. No wonder we haven't heard from his Maj yet; he's probably passed out from sheer bliss...

We would like to take this opportunity to point out that standing that close to Emily we would, much as Booth is with Brennan, focus on those incredible eyes, so beautiful they are in their own right as to easily hold our attention, and yet that is NOT to say we have failed to take in that incredible expanse of flawless alabaster skin starting with her exposed neck and going all the way down to, um...uh. whew.
