Yes, the Booth and Brennan hookup is baby-making sex, but it's not just a clinical, uh, insemination. (Are we allowed to say insemination on the Internet?) From what we've seen, there's a lot of romance and sensuality involved in the long-awaited consummation of Booth and Brennan's relationship. Whee!

Well, sometimes Kristin and her team can be wrong. They haave been in the past on other shows too.

Kristin looooves to stir shit up. It's fine, it's her job description. I just wanted the baby-issue to be put away -for the time-being at least. The discussion of it alone makes me cringe. lol

First of all, Kristin really loves to stir shit up.
Secondly, how could it be that famous 'serious ramification', if she actually wanted a baby? If you want something and then get it, could it be called a ramification at all? I'm not sure....
And thirdly, a comment from my dirty mind: who said that she'll get pregnant from the first time? She'n not 18 anymore! And neither is he. So they'll need lots and lots of 'attempts'!!!! [Only admins are allowed to see this image]

I second that!

What calms me a bit is that: if a baby was the serious ramifications it would neither be surprising nor the promised twist. After last week's episode even the ones who don't read spoilers might expect a baby.
HH teased about that thing since the beginning of the season. That makes me suspicious: when a magician makes a lot of noise and ballyhoo (sp?) on the left side of the stage, it usually is the right side where the magic/trick is created...
Plus, bringing a baby on a show is a major plot thing that writers can drag out for months... Why should they blow a storyline like that so quickly?
Bottom-line: a pregnancy/baby in TV-land either has to be surprising (I don't think so) or happen only after overcoming obstacles, angst, twists and turns (jumping into bed once and 'Hellooo baby!' doesn't qualifiy as that).

Maybe I am just trying to logic myself away from the edge of insanity...

BTW: as much as I thought the 'I-want-a-baby-thing' in the last epi was OOC I still felt entertained by it. Very conflicting feelings... So, even if they pursue the baby-thing and as much as I would dislike that for now, I hope that I would at least feel entertained by the way they do it...
