BONES (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) – “The End in the Beginning” – Season Finale

In the season finale episode, a body is found murdered at “The Lab,” a popular nightclub, and everyone is a suspect. In an unusual twist of storytelling, Brennan, Booth and the Jeffersonian team take on various roles outside their normal duties, including serving as the nightclub staff as well as local law enforcement. Mötley Crüe, Ryan O’Neal, Brendan Fehr and Eric Millegan guest-star.

Ah-ha - the previous spoiler 'dissension and suspicion / everyone is a suspect in the Lab' was clever.

I like the use of the word 'Beginning' in the title.

I see now how that previous spoiler is tying in. At first I thought they were going to ditch that--I was thinking GRAVEDIGGER!!!!--But maybe that's for Season five? xD

Either way! I'm so freeeeeeeeakinggggggggggggg excited!!!!!!!!

ON the tite:

"The End" being the death?
"The Beginning" being Semperance? xD (Or Brooth, whichever you prefer!)

This sounds SO exciting!!!! I can't wait for it!!! and Zack, Jared and Max are going to be there!!!

I don't stop in here very often, but that title does sound pretty neat ... kind of a mental gymnastics for me, like "Back to the Future" was when it first came out!

Now I'm going to show my age - and very badly, I'm afraid! But I'm going to embrace it, rather than run off and Google this in private. Mötley Crüe - name of a band, or name of a person? So help me, somebody out there is rolling their eyes! I always thought band, but it sounds like a person in that list. Since I'm not certain I thought I'd ask! :?:

I think band... but then I'd never heard anything they had done and frankly when I youtubed it, I knew why - more of a boyband girl myself, ha ha. Not my thing at all.

p.s. Do you reckon they've dropped the Booth's father/grandfather story? Or just keeping it tightly under wraps- there hasn't been any mention lately of them. Would the press releases mention them?

Probably pushing it to autumn for the sake of not making everything look muddled.

Remember that interview with David quite a while back and he described a fantasy episode as being "1940s Film Noir"-- I always attributed that comment to his own theories. But what if this whole night club thing is set in the forties? Of course Motley Crue in the forties? I guess it could work in a hallucination... Just a thought.

Now, I vote Brennan as a waitress and Booth as an investigator. xD

motley crue tis a band peeps a very old rock band really good in there hay-day

that is VERY plausible! hmmmmmm........... we have many things to consider.

Now, that's a hallucination I wouldn't mind seeing - 40s film noir. Very cool.

At the end of the Critic, Brennan drags Booth out of the interrogation room b/c of his hallucination. I'm thinking that something happens... like maybe he passes out??? Or is hospitalized? And the whole beginning of this ep is his hallucination, followed by a diagnosis, and B/B time at the end.

You and I think exactly alike . There can't be enough time for a diagnosis and treatment at the end of that episode?

I'm thinking he passes out and we get another throwback to the WITW 'Booth, Booth' moment?

The end of the finale epi must be them talking about the sperm and why he said no... surely? It's the perfect lead-in to a confession of love.

That would be good, though... Booth telling Brennan that it's because he loves her. But EVEN BETTER if she simply looks at him, scared and doesn't say a thing. Then the music and credits... and we're all--NOOOOOOOO! xD hehehe

The title of the epi is generating so much discussion - it's a really great one. I've seen people theorising we get the end of the episode first, then flashbacks to how it came to be. Imagine that. B/B sex the first thing to hit your retinas. <faints>

THAT would be amazing! The first scene being B/B gettin' it on.... WOW. I'd actually really like that. Just like my siggy says, YES PLZ!!!11!

That actually would be AWESOME.

And actually, now that I think about it...almost possible? Kind of? I'm saying this because didn't Hart or maybe Stephen Nathan say something about how we'd have to deal with the aftermath of the 'Brennan wants a baby'ness, and how that would all play out? So maybe we do get what happened in flashback or "12 hours earlier..." etc, and Booth turns her down on the whole sperm donation thing, explains why (the natural way, etc.)...

Either way, having BB all over each other before the beginning credits? Not that bad of an idea to me.

The End in the Beginning. The "end" of being just partners in the beginning of their relationship? Maybe.

That would be awesome. Mostly because
A) it would be a total assault to the senses. Especially to those who don't read spoilers.
B) Those who do read spoilers wouldn't be forced to wait an entire episode to see them getting it on.
C) We'd get a taste of the ramifications and what's to come in S5.

Can you guys believe that the next sides to be released will say Season 5??? xD And wouldn't we all flip if there was a scene somewhere in those sides where B&B shared a little affection or perhaps hinted to the fact that they're together romantically? XD hehehehehhehehehe

Yeah, I was wondering if they'd pull the ol' beginning/end switcheroo thing? But then wouldn't it be The End At The Beginning?
You know the beginning in the end sounds a lot more hopeful somehow...the end in the beginning could go either way? Something begins *cough nakedBedSex cough* but it is cut short, a full stop is put in place, a line is drawn (again!) Thus ending the possibility of that beginning??? Or...on a lighter note maybe Brennan ends the 'I wanna baby right now' idea and begins the 'I want Booth naked in my bed as often as possible' idea?...Which is a genius idea by the way!
