Fox Orders Six Scripts for ‘Bones’ for 2009-10 Season

Yay!! Go Bones! This is good news!

This is good for Bones, this article shows that Bones is a solid player for FOX, I think it derserves alot more respect than it seems to get. I am glad they have ordered 6 episodes, I just wonder why only 6, does anyone know if this is done in phases and if only ordering 6 is normal.

I am actually not sure why, actually 'Bones' is the first time I have seen that done. Last season FOX ordered 5 episodes (I think it was 5) before announcing that 'Bones' was renewed for season 4.

Yay! I'm not really surprised, because Bones really pulls in ratings for Fox, but it's good to be reassured that all this screwing with the Bones schedule is not a sign of Fox's hatred of the show. (It's just a sign of their disrespect)

Interesting how the other article about the 6 ordered episodes has quite a different slant. Interesting to compare these 2.

Yeah... the article bashed Fox for mistreating it and insulting it by only ordering six episodes.

But... seven episodes into Season 5 would take it 1/3 of the way through the season. Bones will pull out great ratings and they'll order more. I'm not worried.

Wouldnt make sense to cancel a show with great ratings...and if we're left hanging at the end of the season...which im sure we will be, imagine how many will tune into watch season 5...

I think it's great they've bought the 6 scripts for the time being
