Because Obama is speaking Idol has been pushed back to wednesday and thursay and Bones has been pushed out. says so on FOX Website

Seriously though, wasn't he supposed to be on Leno (NBC)? Or am I missing something?

Edit: No, he is scheduled for Leno this Thursday. I went to the Fox website and on the schedule it says that Bones is preempted for the benefit of an All New American Idol! *ugh*. So my apologies, Mr. President. Nevermind.

Does that means the Bones schedule has been shifted. *cries* *screams* grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF?!?!?! Honestly, WHY must our show, which does incredibly well in the ratings and is a HIT show, be bumped because of freaking American Idol?! I know some of you on here like AI and that's totally fine, but we need some momentum with this season and when AI pops up out of nowhere, Bones loses its momentum. I honestly do not know what Fox is thinking.

Well, don't blame AI, blame fox...they are keeping Hell's Kitchen on instead of Bones. Why they can't bump that this time is beyond me.

You know, they get some momentum from this TV Guide layout, and they're not even going to put it to good use. And they lied to us. They said 11 weeks uninterrupted!

I'm seeing talk on forums of an episode being bumped to next season. Now this, I do not like. I really do not like. I hope it's just talk.

I also just thought if Sky don't miss an episode, we'll be caught up with the US and it would air before you get it. ('Bones that Foam' here tonight).

Of course, that won't happen, so Bones will be missing for a week here too. Double boo.

Just checked the Global website. Bones is still scheduled for the 26th, but that might be a re-run. There are no episode details listed and the five-word-description doesn't indicate whether it is the new one. I doubt that they will air it b/c they would be one week ahead of FOX then (until Fox airs two epis in a row).
regarding the rumor of bumping an epi to next season: I would hope that they rather have another two-epi-week or that they show two epis in a row in one of the following weeks.
Bumping is speculation on the BY and from what I've read on the boards there... I totally got why the ABY was created...

yea it is not idols fault it cost more to shoot the live show. but i do not get hells kitchen. they lied to us more times tthan we can count now

that's so annoying. They put that "11 weeks in a row" in the ad. That's like a compact. I hate fox.
Someday, I fear, people won't watch the show anymore. Not because it's bad, but because of the damn network. And then there won't be a next season... ='(

No. Nuh-uh. If they do that... argh. We already had enough trouble with the end of last season because of the writer's strike! They cannot do that to us again.
On the other hand... they could always make up for breaking their 'uninterrupted run' by airing the last two episodes back to back on the set date That would satisfy me.

I am extremely frustrated.
