Season 5 spoiler?

Sorry, sorry! Just haven't had time to write it up yet, but to tide you over until we can get up the full post, the highlights are these: Producers are planning to bring Zack (Eric Millegan) back for the season finale—the script and deal aren't done, but plans are firmly in the works. The season-ending sex scene is not a hallucination. And season five will be all about the consequences of having sex, which just might mean Booth-Bones babies. Can you believe it?

Definitely, completely agree!

Though I absolutely agree that Babies = Death of Bones, I think she's just messing with our heads. Or rather the producers via her are messing with our heads. I can foresee a pregnancy scare, at the most.

Unless HH has suddenly decided to go all CC on us (but let's not think like that...yet)

um she definitely is just playing with us. she knows that whole baby talk is out there and she's thinking maybe i can play this shit was foreshadowing.

CC...that's a good one, heiro! As for B&B babies...NO!!! As for possible pregnancy scare and playing with that whole thing...YES! That would be fine. But something else worries me and that is something that Emily Deschanel said in the TV Guide interview about Brennan knowing about the baby thing "going in" to the sex. Did anybody else think that was a little strange and a bit revealing?

Nah, I've given up trying to figure out what's going to happen, it's all too confusing. All I know is that they're going to kiss and sleep together.

Where does she say that? I read the interview (the TV guide article w/ the hot pics) again and didn't catch that? It would indeed worry me a bit, too...

I think what David meant was that she knows going in, that the sex is going to be good.

Agree. Booth already has one child "out of wedlock", bringing another child into the world while not in a marriage or steady/common-law relationship is just plain not good for the show and Booth's character. That is my reasoning for the "Against No Booth and Brennan Babies" at this point in the show. Maybe as the Series Finale OMG! Did I just type those words

Yeah loserette, I think that's what she meant as well. D&E were just doing their bit with the interviewer and going off in several, hilarious tangents.

I agree w/ everyone who is against a baby (at this point in the show).
There are scenarios of how the baby thing could happen right now:
1. She asks him to father her child (now or in the future). He says 'No! unless committed relationship, love, parenting rights, etc...'
2. She sleeps w/ him to get pregnant (probably without him knowing (b/c of the above mentioned nr.1)). I can't imagine that, b/c as oblivious as she might be to his feelings she would never betray him like that!
3. They have sex and she gets pregnant accidentally. I can't see that, either. She doesn't strike me as someone who gets pregnant by accident. Besides, the chances of conceiving in a 'one time thing' are rather slim (even when they are both healthy). At least, if we take reality into consideration...

I think this spoiler is really just meant to mess w/ our minds. And it's working...

Yeah...and it just might mean a lot of other things as well...So when Kristen asks if I can believe it...the answer is NO! The consequences of them having sex (I'm presuming) will be...well they've had sex so what does that mean to Booth?...to Brennan? (Coz they're never really on the same page about anything so sex shouldn't be any different!) Then we have the sexual tension...which should ratchet up a level now we have sex sexual tension!...So let's deal with those consequences before we start knitting booties and buying baby clothes with bones on!

Yeah, don't panic. People (ESPECIALLY KRISTIN) like to theorize and screw with our minds! Kristin only reads the same sides we do with the occasional chit-chat with an exec.

So...am i just slow.
Or does this count as confirmation that we are actually INDEED getting a season 5?

Yeah, I think Bones is safe. The only reason they'd cut Bones is if its ratings were dipping, but they're climbing. And with being on Thursdays, it's also promising to cream the competition on Thurs. Nights--meaning, there's no reason to cut it. Bones is here to stay!

Ok, I don't mind them sleeping together... But if they have Brennan have a baby? That'd ruin the show! IMO. If they do something like that, it'd better be WAY later.

See, I'm kind of inbetween on this. Because, well...would it be completely horrible? It's not like the baby would be there right away, or that things would automatically become couple-y for them. It would change the dynamic of it all. What I DON'T want if/when it happens is for BabyGirlBooth ('cause yes....it's so gonna be a girl. Don't lie, you know it too)....to constantly be with the sitter or Grandpa Max or something like that, and we never see her (Kind of like Parker, or Emma from Friends.) Obviously she wouldn't be there the whole time, but in diner scenes and family get togethers and whatever. And plus it could cause angst, the whole partners not only having a relationship but a child. So....maybe it's not entirely a good thing, but we'll have to trust them.

And the other thing is that...those awkward, beginning of relationship moments? The Booth going out of his way to find some fancy place that serves organic food or happens to have a vegan menu? The flirtatious, "Your place or mine?", the conversations about where they're headed, if it will actually happen again...will kind of be condensed. Of course, they could stick to friends and go through the motions for a while until Sweets and Angela both cry out in frustration, but there would always be that awkward element of dating other people, not knowing how they'll work, etc.

I don't know. Sometime next season once things are established, maybe. But something tells me it isn't going to be all pretty like we'd like for it to be.

I think it wouldn't be a bad idea, actually. If they were to get pregnant. I think it would be exciting and interesting character development for Brennan and it would be awesome to watch. It would be great if they fell in love in a backward kind of way... baby first, admission of love second... that wouldn't be too bad. That's why I haven't been negative about the Baby thing. If they did that, then it would be great. If they didn't, that would be great, too.

Her mood swings would be hilarious! People would be walking on eggshells around her. Haha.

I...No. No babies, please. The kid-without-a-relationship worked for Friends, I guess. But this show is not Friends. Accidental babies don't work so well on tvdrama. Sure Farscape did it phenomenally but that was Sci-fi. Same goes for BSG (but in that show kids get murdered/kidnapped/threatened on a regular basis so again, not the same formula). In regular procedural drama though, not so much. And this is still a procedural, mushy as it might be.

As for babies within a relationship or an admitted coupling, I watched the XFiles. I know how bad things can get.

I don't mind the show being wacky. I like the hallucinations, the ghosts, loved the circus antics and don't really mind the suspension of disbelief required to watch and enjoy the show. But a baby before the end? No, I draw the line at that.

Ha. Brennan's mood swings would be what Sweets would call, "Wicked funny."

Don't worry, heirofloki, I doubt it'll happen. At least not until the show is winding to an end. Which is NOT yet.
