I agree with you. And I swear, I saw the same thing being discussed in an interview but oh. my. god. I can't for the life of me remember which.

But in any case, ITA. She's a) way too literal and b) used to taking many of her behavioural cues from Booth. He says no relationship, she understands no relationship. Period. I know many people consider Brennan to be more insightful re:Booth, but I don't see it. To me, she's still the same ubber-literal science-chick she has always been: good with the dead, not so much with the living.

I commented on lj re:the third clip and her "not amused" look but it bears repeating: She does not look happy at Booth's lack of protest. I wonder what's going through that crazy head of hers.

No clue what's going through that crazy head of hers but about an interview... now when you mentioned it, I remember an interview I saw on youtube right before some of episodes with Sully: Emily said something like Booth practically closed the possibility for them to be together and "so what could I do other than look for someone else"? I assume, it could be an interview right before 2.15...

Okay people, Jared was only in about 30 seconds of that preview. Give him a chance. How about watching the entire episode before you make up your mind? He is Booth's brother, and since we all know that Booth and Bones will get together at some point, Jared will not be going away.

Seriously, do not judge him before you see the episode.

i might be the only one, but i'm actually looking forward to jared causing some trouble. booth and bones have gotten way to comfortable with each other, without moving forward or back or anywhere. which is simply boring as hell. (sorry)

and as you said, shopgirl, they will get together eventually, and i'm surethat in the end, the jared thing will bring them only closer together... by revealing more about booth's past and maybe making bones realize that jared really is nothing but "booth light", and that she wants the real deal.

I'm looking forward to seeing Jared! (It's not exactly a ticker tape parade, I won't be baking him a cake, no he can't share my fries and Noooo! He's so not driving my car...still ) He's the reason that we've all been typing away furiously since the sides for Con Man came to light. If he gives us this much to think about and talk about...think how much Brennan might learn? And after Hero In the Hold (which I'm thinking of renaming Booth on a boat? Seeely in a sub?..ah, I digress! as per usual! ) Jared might learn that his brothers Bones are not to be touched!

man Tinkon you took the words right outta my mouth. I definitely agree on both posts.

Besides, it's already been said by HH himself that Jared is going to bring B/B closer. Brennan doesn't know the extent to what Booth's willing to tolerate, she doesn't know that there are limits . And I think she is going to find out by dating his brother. She'll learn "hey what you're doing isn't ok" and she'll learn that it makes Booth uncomfortable...she probably won't know the real reason it does...because its Brennan.

But, still Jared's going to help Brennan realize more about Booth and more about their relationship.

So, how many of you think that this whole Jared and Brennan dating thing will be over in this episode itself because if it goes on in the background it will take some of the magic away from the coming episodes which have a lot of potential for BB moving ahead. Jared only resurfaces in "Hero in the Hold" which is still about 4 episodes away.

One thing more do you still think that HH will keep Brennan dating Jared after her knowing about DUI and all???

Oh, I'm thinking Brennan's little brotherly experiment will be essentially over in Con Man. By the time Jared raises his flirtatious little head again...Booth's stuck on a boat and there's some serious 'holding' going on in a helicopter and Jared's in Biiiig trouble! (See ya now Jared, don't forget to write! )

Nooo! Jared's not bad enough to warrant a Tink's tasty Tea Time Treat...cakes to die for! The worst I'd do to him is shake up his bottle of soda before I gave it to him..Heheheh! Let's see him trying to get cola stains out of his dress whites! (and maybe sneek into his place and put sugar in the saltcellar and salt in the sugar bowl...and hide his TV remote...and maybe hide under the table and tie his shoe laces together???! )
