My neighbour had a cat who used to come on my balcony all the time and I put up a barrier and said cat APPARENTLY slipped on said barrier and fell to it's death. However I saw that cat cross it at least twice.

Oh...you had said, 'my cat', so I thought it was yours...lol. And hey, they should've kept the damn cat inside if they were worried. I never let mine out, and I live in a house! Who lets their cat outside when they live in an apartment that's not on the first floor!

That actually reminds me of a story I heard about the Washington Monument in DC. It seems that when they finally were able to finish building it, a cat climbed up the scaffolding one day, and when the workers went up, they startled it, and it fell! I can't remember how many feet, (but trust me, that sucker is tall), but it was actually okay! Unfortunately, it ran off across the street and got hit by something...not a car, but I can't remember what it was...haha, I don't know if it's true or not, though.
