Love it, hate it, or somewhere in between?

LOVED IT. I probaby shouldn't have given it a five, because I am on a bones high, but I don't give a care. It was beautiful. You have to admit that it was a FANTASTIC way to start the season. Except for the Angela/Hodgins thing.

Well, it was worth the wait, and a good episode, although it was no "Two Bodies in the Lab"; or "Aliens in the Spaceship" but it was pretty darn good. I gave it 4 skeletons.

I liked it I gave it 4 because I'm still upset about the end of Angela/Hodgins

I gave it 3...I liked it, but the Angela/Greyson thing, and Angela/Hodgins thing both were too implausible for me. I did like the B/B relationship progression, the only thing that bothered me other than the A/G/H thing was they had Booth a little too repetitive on the whole driving thing. But hey, it was Bones, finally! Not too bad!

ugh.............i give it a 2.5..............glad hodgela is over........they were shoved together in the first place...........and pushed in our faces............didnt like them......thought they were boring..........as far as b/b........there were some cute moments between them..............so glad cam finally got some.....i wasnt impressed...........although i am anxiously awaiting the next epi..........cause come on.....its still bones......and i cannot wait to see more.....................

Gave it a 1.5... Cam, Sweets and Clark all get a .5, for making this episode enjoyable..

I loved it. Cam was hilarious! Of course Booth was so cute and same with Brennan. I can't wait for the regular episodes to kick off, though.

too much comedy for me, very simple and boring cases, totally unrealistic hodgela break-up, not a lot of booth and bones bickering... so i'm sorry, but not living up to my very high bones standards.

bit i really liked seeing more of cam's personal side. i've actually grown to like her, after she stopped sleeping with booth. sweets has gone back to being cute and likeable, after he really kinda creeped me out on the finale, i was glad to see that. and i'm happy clark isn't staying, i'm curious to see the new grad students.

so i'm sure the rest of the season is going to be better.

No Shit Annie Oakely!!! You are right on the money - AND what does it bode for the season when Clark (representing the most character development, best science presentation and best consistency) walked off?

I gave it a 4.5 because I'm so hungry for a new episode and I thought the show had a lot of good scenes..I liked the progression between Booth and Brennan relationship..I thought Brennan showed a lot of character developed..Cam finally getting some was great as long at it isn't Booth..breaking up H&A was okay..You know they will get back together by the end of season. I liked Season 1 when Angela played around a little more..I also liked Brennan having more lap time..I wish Clark would stay.

I gave it a 4.0. It wasn't a Top Notch episode, but their were many things I liked and I think it was a decent way to kick off the new season.

I think we'll all be a lot more thrilled about next week's episode. More of the bickering and banter and flirting.... Yeah, I'm looking forward to that PLUS I'm looking forward to the Sweets Session at the end (won't say anything more cuz it's a teeny tiny spoiler).

i gave it a 4. although i loved the eppy. i didn't like what they did with jack and angela

I gave it 4 Skeletons. It was a decent episode, but not one I'll watch over and over again.
It probably would get a 3.5 IF it wasn't the first episode of the season and IF it hadn't been almost 90minutes of bonesy-goodness.
There were some cute scenes between Booth and Bones, but overall I missed their spark. Sometimes it came through a little, but it seemed like they were always interupted.
I actually enjoyed the character of Pritch a lot and liked that she made Booth a junior knight. And of course her advice for Brennan regarding Booth. Though she never mentioned his name.
On Angela and Hodgins, I'm glad they broke up the way they did. No big fight and so on. We all know they'll be back together eventually (not because of Spoiler-knowledge, but as a feeling).
And I just love Sweets. He had so many funny scenes. Like when he first met Grayson (what the hell was Sweets wearing in that scene? ). His interaction with Cam was hilarous as well... not to forget his childhood story.
Clark did a great job showing the squints from the point of view of an outsider.

And just as a little further note: I noticed I've almost the same trenchcoat as Brennan which made me one happy fan. =) Can't wait for next week.

I thought the cases weren't very interesting.
But Cam was awesome in this epi

I gave it a 4. I had figured out the ending about 90 mins. into the show. I liked the location shoot and the Booth interactions, but it got old real fast. Hodgins and Angela split up too fast and over nothing!

Not interesting? The first one, they guy got his SISTER pregnant!!! The second one, a major character was killed off. I thought they were great cases, but I honestly must agree with David Boreanaz on this one: I care more for the character-character relationships rather than the science or the cases.

I agree with lax. Cases were boring. By the time I got to the part where it was the bro getting the sis pregnant, I was barely paying attention.

yes, I couldn't even get to the part where I was shocked... I was just not interested/paying attention.

ok...where to start..i gave it 1.5...which was a push...what a fucking BORING episode...for the first time i actually nearly turned it off to watch big brother.....omg....so...where do i start my rant..has HH forgotten it is fundamentally a forensics show...where was the science?...it was a soap opera from start to finish..ok so there were a couple of nice BB moments and some funny one liners...other than that it was an empty episode of disjointed nonsense. They didnt even solve the first case..the butler just decided he would own up...just like that..talk about crack under NO pressure...the second murder just seemed to fill time...and seemed pretty unbelievable and silly...there was no depth to the episode. The cam/hodgela scenes bored me completely..apart from a couple of amusing lines provided by sweets and cam..other than that..the scenes seemed like they were there to pack out the show...grrrrr...i am so dissappointed....it better get more interesting than this..i hope there were no newbies watching ..they would never would watch again.....and....we have a world of talent over here..but you wouldn't think so from the crappy actors they chose...
