Does anyone know why Fox moved Bones over to Wednesday night this fall?

I'm not sure. Their reasoning for a lot of things is unexplainable...

Well, I do not know the official reason, and I am sad because I loved being able to watch Bones and House in one evening, but I think they moved them to make their other shows more popular.
What I mean is that Bones is a popular Fox show, so they hope that by playing it before a show that is not as popular, like 'Til Death and the new one, Do Not Disturb, that viewers who watch Bones will not turn off their televisions and stay up to watch the other not as popular program, and boost viewers. Clearly they think that we do not know how to turn off our televisions.
I wish it was still on Mondays though, because Bones will probably go off the air when the dreadfully popular Fox show, a show that I HATE (I know I am in the minority here people, but come on! It is Karaoke with judges!) returns. Yes, that is right, what will happen when that blasted American Idol show returns, cause like an annoying relative or ants at a picnic, it never stays away for long. Will they move Bones to a different night? I hope not, because that loses viewers. Therefore, my guess is that is will take a LONG break, to which I say "BOO!!!!"

Bones will just get moved. It always gets moved. And the fans will follow. It's still frustrating though!

That is the thing though...fans do NOT always follow. If you look, the shows with the longest staying power do NOT move around. And when a show gets put off the air, like Bones probably will when the show-that-must-not-be-named returns, you lose even MORE fans. And that is the sad reality.

In general, yes, but not with Bones. They move it every season, more than once per season. And the numbers keep growing. Bones has proven it can take it, which, unfortunately, reinforces their willingness to do it.
Fox doesn't give anything but...oh...American Idol and the sunday night lineup a static spot. Everything moves. House, which has higher numbers than Bones, gets moved around too. It's just a dumb network quirk. The main 3 often leave a show in a slot for years, but not Fox.
