The man I was with, we´ve known each other for 4 years and are really good friends. There were times when I was madly in love with him but he didn´t seem to notice. Tonight, he asked me out on a date and I was really thrilled, but during the evening I realized that it will not work with us - we probably missed our moment... I have some mixed feelings right now

Well, I am pleased that you went out on a date. I am disappointed that sparks were not kindled. Then, I am pleased that you aren't trying to fit pieces of a puzzle together using a hammer. So, I guess i am generally pleased but always like to hear happy endings.
