This is the perfect time to introduce what living in my apartment is like.
I have all of 400 square feet in an efficiency where there is a gap under the front door that allows lizards to run underneath and I stuff rags under it to keep out the gnats. Attractive, isn't it?

But the interesting thing is the construction. My building is up on stilts so that cars can be parked underneath and be shaded from the sun. The building is much longer than it is wide and the columns are too far apart.

When people park underneath and bump the columns the whole building sways back and forth. If a strong wind blows the same thing happens but in either case, the swaying and rocking stop after three or four back and forths. Imagine my surprise the other night when it went on for about 15 minutes until I realized my neighbors must be bumpin' the uglies to keep the house rockin' so long and steady.

you know peeps my 4 year old sister is convinced that B&B will get married one day...talk about having influence
