It's about 10C here. Last weekend, 15 minutes before the rugby started, the southerly blew in. When it hit us, the temperature dropped 5C in under 5 minutes. The poor Irish captain was interviewed after and he was shaking and blue, I wanted to hug him.

did anyone else here email me tonight and are awaiting one back?

It's not that cold where I live.
But it is still way too cold for June.

Well francie, 27C at midnight would a bit too hot for me. Maybe we can meet in the middle. We have ca. 12C....now

If you can cope with the weather dropping from 12C to 7C in under 5 minutes, before plummeting to 2C with torrential rain and gales...then going back to still and blue.

yup...Newfoundland had 4 seasons in one day when I was growing up...much prefer the cool

I love our crazy weather, although it doesn't get that cold here. Where I live is dominated by the wind. If it's blowing west (prevailing) then it's usually pretty nice, although I'm about 10k from the coast so if it blows strongly west, all you can hear is a gentle roaring from the waves hitting the beach. Northerly comes down from the tropics and it gets hot and humid, 33/34C, the hottest it's been was 36C and it dropped from 36C to 16C in half an hour when the wind changed. Easterly is dry but the mountains stop us getting easterly. Southerly comes straight off Antarctica and it is absolutely bitter. The temperature can be 12/13C but the windchill will be -4C.

mr m is snoring through big brother right now so will watch it when i can actually here it!
