Dang, my laptop's battery isn't gonna last long anymore. And of course I chose today of all days to lend my charger to my forgetful friend...

Either way I won't be able to stay long. Even with a fully charged battery it is still after midnight here. Luckily I have a day off tomorrow or I wouldn't even be here in the first place...

OK, battery level went to critical level now. It claims I have still 30 minutes, but I don't think I'll be able to stay up that long. I am still fighting the last bits of the throat infection plus I have a brand-new cold, so I am already sleepy as it is. Well, that and the obvious fact that it's past 12.30 am here...

I am in year 3 of my PHD program which means I have finished the Masters and am working on the PHD classwork this year and then next summer will present my research proposal to my committee and start my research next year and hopefully finish in another 2-5 years depending on research speed and writing speed
