"I love Booth’s concern for Sweets. That is very special. This episode was interesting to me in that Booth was paired more with Sweets and Brennan paired more with Daisy. I don’t need a lot more of that in the future, but for this episode, it worked."

Bones and Fringe were not welcomed back with open arms after nearly two months between new episodes. Bones returned to a 2.4 rating with adults 18-49 and Fringe a 2.2. The last new episode of Bones on February4 had a 3.3 rating, and Fringe a 2.6.

I would imagine that a lot of people didn't know that new episodes started last night.

There is a lot of press about next week's episode though, so look for an uptick.

I think FOX did an excellent job promoting the return of 'Bones' and 'Fringe'. I have a theory about the low ratings but I will have to wait until next week to see if I am correct.

I think the low numbers are nothing to worry about...I think the reason for the low numbers is that it is Spring Break and I think families are on vacation. Hopefully the numbers will be up next week for the 100th episode.

Apparently every show suffered not just fox. Grey's Anatomy hit it's lowest numbers ever and it was a heavily promoted episode featuring their main cast.

I guess it could be spring break. People are out doing other things. It'll be interesting to see the final numbers with the DVR added in because I know all my friends recorded bones because they had cool spring break plans (lucky bitches;)

I'm positive next week will be better. Everywhere I go all the sudden people are buzzing about bones which I've never experienced before. it's kind of cool actually.
