Wow. I had a heart attack for like two seconds there. In the original concept of the show (or so the story goes), Booth was only supposed to be recurring. Scary. When I first read that I thought that was what it meant. I wish we'd quit the intern o'the week stuff, but I do think it might be good to see more FBI types. The only question is why we're seeing them. Surely he can't be planning for a replacement or anything, but since he's SAC or whatever the acronym is, would part of his job be training new agents? *shrugs*

Also, can we meet the deputy director? Not of any great importance, but most fics still assume Cullen is boss, which considering what happened in s1 I really don't think that's the case.

No. Just that they're planning to introduce more FBI guys I guess. It sounds kind of cool even if I don't really get the point. Heh.
