I was glancing up in the sky the other day when there was no cloud in sight and saw these two butterflies fluttering along pretty high up. All the sudden the one in the rear started in a nose dive, free falling from the sky. I could practically hear the sound effects from a war movie when a plane's going down! Right before the explosion he leveled off as neatly as you please and started fluttering over the weeds and the grass.

I'd never seen such a thing before in my life.

Never seen anything quite like that myself, though I have seen a robin chase a squirrel out of a tree. Actually, not just out of a tree, but out of the yard altogether! Speaking of dive-bombing and all...

That's why we go! My Dad likes to show off in front of all the surfers who think they're really good. He owns them all pretty quickly! This year, I hope to pop up at least once. I missed out last year.

G, this is one heavy-duty piece for me to fathom. Parts of it I've read again and again trying to get what he's saying. Last night I was evening reading to my sister like people did back in the old, old days. I'm on the "Idealism" chapter next.

To be honest, I first read it about 15 years ago, and there are still parts of it I don't understand. No worries. What I did love about it, was sometimes, at random moments, I would see something, or feel something and my mind would go back to this, and I would understand! Smile
