Q Bones star David Boreanaz has a tattoo on his right wrist. What does it mean?--Caitlin Hoop, Wyoming, Mich.

A Actually, Boreanaz has tattoos on both wrists. Like many young actors, he chose Japanese kanji ideographs--in his case the ones for "soul" and "destiny." By the way, other celebs fond of kanji characters include singers Pink, Kelly Clarkson, Janet Jackson, and Britney Spears.

How bad would it be to be related to Britney Spears for tatoos?

I'd be totally freaked to get tattoos on my wrists...well since I have a fear of needles, that applies to anywhere, but especially my wrists. But I think it's adorable that David and Jaime have the same tattoos. I think I read somewhere along my nutty fangirl internet searching that they got them independently and then knew they were meant to be when they matched. Of course, I could have totally made that up.

Thanks for the post! *looks at wrists* it would seem to hurt getting tattoos there, don't think I'd be brave enough to do it. lol

Tan, is there some significance to getting these kind of tattoos on your wrists? And how long ago did you get them?

I think 'ouch' too but tattoos do look kinda cool there too

that area is all bone, that has to hurt to have gotten a tattoo. I can't imagine anyone wanting a tattoo. But then again, needles make me faint, so...

Totally. If I get a tat, it's goes on an area with some fat, might make it less painful LOL :d

Yeah ive got a tattoo on my wrist..got it a couple of years back. I actually copied it from the lead singer of HIM. its a really long heart..but i love it. Now that i have it there, i couldnt think of anywhere else i would want to get one..

I read that too. Well no. I lie. Actually, my crazy angel obsessed friends from middle school told me and I never forgot it lol But I'm assuming they read it somewhere! lol Him and Jaime met because he was admiring her tats. lol Sounds creepy the way I wrote it but they were the same and it was "fate" so to speak. not sure if those are his words, I added the fate part in lol

thats cool. i can't wait to get my next tat. it's gonna be RAD!
