Robert Bianco from USA Today Empty Robert Bianco from USA Today

I complained about bones to him and he actually posted a reply to my rant.

Decatur, IL: Why do you think Fox treats Bones the way it does...they promised 11 uninterrupted episodes and we get one then pre-empted this week. Now there are rumors that we won't see the season "finale" til next season. Why do they do this to the shows loyal fans?
Robert Bianco: In part because you are such loyal fans. Fox has come to count on "Bones" as a reliable pitch hitter - the kind of show it can move to other time slots and put on hiatus without disrupting its ratings performance. It can be annoying for fans, but that resilience has also turned the show into a very valuable commodity for Fox. So at least you don't have to worry about cancellation at the moment, which is the worst network treatment of all.

Thanks for posting!

That's true... at least we don't have to worry about cancellation. However, I'm afraid that fans will get frustrated and cancellation will loom.

I've been trying to faithfully watch Bones on TNT. I figure that if something happens at FOX than maybe Bones will have a home to go to! Cancellation is not an option! Very Happy

I *kinda* agree with the response, at least to a certain degree, but there is a point where some of those not-quite-as-loyal fans might decide to "drop" the show. Yes, it IS annoying for us and if it continues each and every season, the show might have to bear the consequences...which I definitely don't want!
