Rate The Fire in the Ice

Maybe I need to watch it again. I gave it a 3.5. I LOVED the ending, but that didn't make up for the rest of the epi or me. As other people have mentioned, I really didn't care for the Luc Robitaille part. It just seemed incredibly "non-Bones" like. A hallucination that leads Booth to figure out the case? Seriously? I think because DB is a fan of Luc Robitaille AND he is a producer, all of this was able to happen. It was kind of a selfish (not in a bad way) thing on DB's part to be able to have his "idol" (I don't really like that word, but I can't think of another) in this episode.

The whole collecting blood thing was a little out there, but I was able to just suspend my disbelief fairly well.

Maybe I should have given it a 4. I don't know, I think I'll rewatch it. Perrotta kind of annoyed me a bit with her "twinkle in his eye" comment. Her character is kinda...flat. But, she does get better...trust me. I have insider info. hehehe I kind of overlooked her annoyingness 'cuz Marisa herself is really really sweet.

It wasn't my favourite episode...I also felt it didn't feel like a normal Bones episode either. It just didn't flow well for me. I don't understand how Booth was still able to be a part of the case if he was as suspect. Hodgins & Wendell working together was fun and B&B at the end was cute..oh and Cam getting really into the hockey was fun too.

I keep watching the ending scene over...and over...and over. It's SO cute! Best B&B moment we've had in a long time. And Wendell is just adorable. He's the only intern I really like...Daisy's funny, but can get annoying. Just seeing Nigel-Murray makes me want to hide. He drives me nuts. Clark is funny...but Wendell just takes the cake with me. <3

I'm looking forward to getting more insight into Booth's childhood and his motivations. We spent the last seasons learning all about Brennan's character, and now it's Booth's turn!

I rated it a 4.5 for 2 reasons:
1. They didn't kiss at the end.
2. Agent Blondie was there.

But other than that it ties for my favorite episode. My other favorite episode is the Finger in the Nest.

Loved this episode, I gave it a 4.5 the only thing that would have given it a 5 would have been a kiss at the end.....The ending was perfect!!

Despite the thing with Wendell and the blood; and I didn't particularly like the hallucination scene...But we kinda delved into Booth's past a little more...And Wendell was just like another part of the team...And the end scene of course I loved

Hahaha. Sure I am!

I liked Perotta, I didn't find her annoying at all. Of course, I liked the dream scene too, which everyone seemed to hate...why is it so hard to believe that it could happen, that the subconscious can take over and give you some insight into other things going on in your life? Oh well...the world would be boring if everyone agreed about everything...lol.

5 skeletons....one of the best epis ever.....I liked all the small looks and Booth as a suspect was nice.....and the last scene on the icerank with Bones was perfect.....and we got to see him without a shirt.....
I didn't really like agent blondie, but Booth said nothing would change between him and Brennan and if he says so.....I just have to believe him, don't I?

I gave it 5 cus this is ... a very very good and strong episode.

Well, I actually loved the whole interaction between Hodgins and Wendell. I loved the parts where they say that they're Booth's people and not Perotta's people and the "picture moment" where Hodgins smiles in the evidence picture.

I'm regretfully giving this one a 3.

-I never got into the case, I don't know why. It just didn't spark with me.
-It was somewhat random for the "booth's dad getting brought up again."
-The Luc hallucination was too corny for me.
-The blood samples...did me over. I mean plus its not that easy to make that many people bleed.
-Booth's hand magically is ok in the last game along with the end of the episode...hm.
-The skating at the end. Not exactly something a person with a concussion should be doing.

Pros:

-Cam.
-Some domestic Booth/Brennan get alongs.
-The ice skating was cute.
-Sweets being all sneaky in the interrogation of Booth.
