We got a dog from the Humane Society a few weeks ago, but they neglected to tell us that he was an outside dog and we have no fence and a lot of wildlife. So, it didn't work out.

phoebs is working on a fanfic for Jericho.

and jonez... not to bring up bad memories... but does this mean the stones are gone? or do they just keep coming back?

I really like welsh springer spaniels... that's what I want ;-)

He was really sweet dog, too. But we just couldn't provide for him. He was ALWAYS wanting to be outside. It was sad, I cried. I just hope he finds a good home.

Welsh Springer Spaniel. Never heard of it. *runs off to google*

I have heard of Springer Spaniels without the "Welsh" part. Awww...they look just like Springers...for the most part.

meegs... since you know ten times more about horses than I do, perhaps you can help. Horseback is a good method of travel for these people. However I don't know how far out I can make something before riding a horse isn't realistic. Any insight you have would be much appreciated.

awwww... yeah, you can't keep them indoors when they're used to the outside. Ultimately, that's why we had to give away our second dog (the first one died of old age), because my dad didn't want her and my mom moved to a smaller house in a neighborhood with small yards and not very roaming-dog friendly. (we used to live way out in the country so the dogs could jsut roam whereever). It's sad for us, but best for the dog :-(
