working as a babysitter and living with my friend...whohooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, I have worked as au pair in two different countries, namely in England and in Spain for a total of two and a half years! So I am experienced.

HAd my up and downs, but in England I had a great time. In Spain it was a lot different. People were a bit strange there. I had some awful times there, had to move twice and nothing was my fault. Imagine one time I heard I had to leave bec I was.....wait for it.....too pretty!! That's just ridiculous!!! Now I laugh at it but those days (in 2002) I wasn't in my best mood as you can imagine.

Not as soon as I would like. Once I get my financial footing it should be relatively easy for a single man to travel. Of course with the US economy in the crapper it will be the most expensive time to visit Europe - but, who cares.

Luckily I have a kid whose family I already know very well so probably don't have this kind of problemo

Too many men are "distracted" by the young help . . . The wife probably knew that.

No defined plans.I will go bother Mary, for sure. But, otherwise, England, Germany and Spain are on the list - maybe get to Eastern Europe. I'd like to wander around if I get over there. This is all based on my fantasy of becoming a successful author and then visit the world as I please for inspiration. And to be the foreign stranger so that women will notice me, of course.
