Actually, I love description, I just can't write it like I see it in my mind, so it really frustrates me.

I used to be good at this when I had a wife. I always kept the last minute checklist in my head. I don't know what you are prone to forget. There's the usual; hair products, toothbrush/toothpaste, deodorant and such. Underwear is good to remember changes of clothes, money, ID - shower clogs?
