It does, no doubt. Though I don't really belong to either of your categories, I am a bit of a mixture. I am a Gemini which might explain a bit. Sometimes I adopt a different persona and this 'other' makes me do the complete opposite. I mean it's very easy to get me riled up with trivial things, but the next moment I am OK. I consider myself very sensitive, probably TOO sensitive. I just don't know how to get out of this. I mean I am a grown up person but it's still easy to get me weep. I hate myself those days.

You may be like me - I know it's the popular diagnosis and everybody wants to be it - but, you may be ADD. I am so extreme that my doctor told me I'm off the chart. It makes me perfect to rule the world but not take care of day-to-day necessities. The emotions can hit a flash point without warning and then I'm back like nothing happened and wonder why everybody else looks stunned. A small thing can set me off but a natural disaster and I'm the coolest most focused and in the zone possible.

What does ADD stand for? I have found some acronyms on net but not sure which you meant.

And oh yeah, I can whole-heartedly understand the feeling. Also, I feel really bad and hurt if a row or debate continues with the course of times. I always need reconciliation to make up, to feel I am needed and forgiven.

I cannot speak on that as I don't have all the facts on myself yet. In other words - I am a prisoner to my thoughts and that's all I do. It is difficult for me to find people willing to engage at the level I seem to require. Deep Thinker? Guess I am.

I got it. Also, do you need to be familiar with a person's physical appearance to define him/her or is it just enough if you know what's ailing him/her, what's going on the mind?

Nothing wrong with youtube grandma. It oddly got me addicted to watching Britain's Got Talent. I have no idea why but there you have it.

sometimes sweets, in the past i have been so wrapped up in own thoughts and feelings and emotions..suffered depression more than once that now i just block it all out my remaining shallow and an emotional brick wall...its how i deal...ignore any deep feelings emotions or thoughts..life becomes much easier and brighter..

There was a back and forth this morning about whether I had a problem with women looking at pictures of men. I noted how could I since men are looking 24/7 and if there's not even a picture to look at we're doodling parts. But, for me - I can find a woman beautiful to look at but I am not interested until I have looked into her eyes and snooped around in her soul. Then I like to see what sort of storms I can make flash in those eyes and then I want to check out the rest of her. I have honestly known both men and women and not been able to tell you how tall they are or other physical attributes because I lock in on the face and read beyond that and their words to the person inside.

But, if I hear them speak or express anything about themselves even in the form of a joke or sarcasm I seem to know them immediately.

Posts like these forums do the same thing for me. I'm a very spiritual person ans I believe I am very sensitive to the souls of people with whom I have even slight contact.

I see the physical as a mask, just as I do people's diversions.
