A few nights ago, in the middle of a bout with insomnia, I had this weird idea that wouldn't leave me alone until I wrote it down...so here it is, my original email, typos and all...fired off to wills at about four a.m.....would love to know what you guys think...Ana


It's true....

First of all,, I have to be back up in two hours to get ready for work, but can't sleep due to the monstrous amount of caffeine I've had tonight.....

Second of all....the combination of my weekend bones dvd marathon and insomnia have produced one weird ass theory about Gormagon......

So bear with me.....

First the assumptions.....

1) Per HH, it is someone we know

2) Per TV Guide or EW one, the whole idea gave HH the gigggles

3) Despite my previous assumption, there is nothing that says Gormagon has to be a widow's son...only his victims.....i think

4) It can't be one of the "inner circle" because that would not only be jumping the shark....it would pretty much be bending over and inviting said shark to take a nice big chunk from one's ass.....

So....*taking a deep breath*....I think Gormagon could be....Gordon-Gordon!

Yes. I'm insane.

But here's my reasoning....

1) He's a "beloved" character, but one with some distance given his absence

2) How Hannibal Lecterish could that be?

3) As a writer, I would go there

4) Why else would they go to film episodes in England? Meaning....what reason would an American federal agent have to go to England to "ivnestigate" anything?

5) G-G is worldly enough to have that persona and knowledge of history

6) He can be persuasive

7) As a psychiatrist, he would have access to "troubled" people to recruit an apprenctice

He deliberately kept B/B apart.....(I know, I know.....Angela's reason is more rational...but....)

9) Imagine the interplay between Booth and Wyatt if that confrontation did take place (not to mention that it would totally play into Brennan's lack of trust regarding psychology)

10) Wouldn't that explain HH's amusement that people think its Sweets? Close guess by picking Wyatt's replacement?

11) Yes, Bancroft is a pompous asshole with all of the access and power from his position, and there was that not-even-veiled threat to Angela....but what if that was a feint by the writers?

and finally, bringing it to an even dozen......this is out there, but it is my favorite reason....

12)....he had Booth build a barbeque grill....now how ironic would that be....considering that they are used to cook "flesh"?


Sooo....whaddya think? Have I lost that last marble that I was hanging onto? feel free to say so....i would most likely agree iwth you!

okay.....now that i've shared my insanity...am going to try to go to sleep again....thanks for bearing with me!

Well Ana, they say that there is a fine line between genius and insanity! Personally I don't know if you have crossed the line to the dark side or not. Everything that you listed actually does make sense when put together, and we really don't know much about GG past. At this point I can hardly wait for the next 2 weeks to pass. Hopefully we will know the answer to this wonderful question by the end of the season finallie.

nice to know that while you can't sleep, you put your mind to good use ;-)

but one flaw in your thinking?

HH said the case would be wrapped up by the season finale and the England episodes are the next season openers....so no Gordon Gordon investigating if the case is done and over....

i thought the same thing as fab...that the outcome will be this season and england epis are next season...but good theories still, i think everyone has been a suspect now from sid (silly cupcake theory lol) to zach x x

ohhh yummy they were nice pics snoop. There is something about a man in a shirt and tie...no jacket, sleeves rolled up and a little dirty from working hard.....especially if that man is booth x

omg ana..........all of them fit so nicely together..........but like magic says......the england eps are next season.........and supposedly we get to find out who gorgonzola is in this season....

and like space says......i love number 12 also.....me and my gory stuff.....................brilliant ana....simply brilliant.......
