That would be beyond cruel. Hart is not that mean, and I'm pretty sure that would kill the show.

It sounds like something that would happen on Grey's Anatomy or Private Practice.

I could see it happening on Glee for sure, but I think he said "Drama" is Glee considered a drama?

this would be something that can't be done half heartedly and i don't see there being any time to fully play out this story line the way it should be done on Bones.
so im with everyone else who says the blind item is not Bones.

Glee is a drama, I think, at least in general terms (or a very dark comedy, because ugh, sadness abounds there at times). That said, giving a teenage boy HIV for the sake of ratings would just be plain mean. Is not like those kids lack problems as it is.

I'm going with one of the more character-driven hospital dramas, or maybe one of the CSIs, as they seem to cherish TEH DRAMA OMG!!1!. If there was a lawyer show (isn't there a lawyer show on? There's always one), I'd go with that instead of Glee. Aussiello did say it was a 6.7 in his viewership, and god knows, Glee's does not lack fans in his column.

Bones is always described as a dramedy. Saddling Booth or Hodgins with HIV would be crazy and who else would it be? Hodgins just got married. Booth just got over a brain tumor and a year on the battlefield. But I was convinced they'd never do the year leap either. What happened to good cases and playful, sexy banter? This just can't be about Bones.

I'm like 90% positive that it's not Bones, but I never thought that they would go their separate ways and they did. I'm sure Bones is higher than a 6.7 on the popularity scale. And how could Hodgins or Booth even get HIV? Hodgins just got married and Booth got a brain tumor and was sent to train soldiers. Even if he hooks up with some sexy nurse, he still wouldn't get HIV because they probably check your blood before go into the army.

But even if it is Booth or Hodgins, it will probably just be a scare because I don't see the writers strapping down one of them with HIV permanently because then Booth and Brennan would never ever get together because Booth would never put her at risk like that. And just because a person may be HIV positive doesn't mean they are sexually active because that just sounds to obvious and boring. There are other ways of getting it.

Blood transfusions for one. I agree. I don't think that after last season's sturm und drang, the writers would choose to take the show in this direction.

Yeah. He could it from a blood transfusion. I kind of have mixed feelings about this because it does kind of sound like something HH&Co would do to keep B&B apart, but it also sounds a little too soap opera-ish, but if it is Booth Hodgins or Sweets, it will probably be just a scare. Like if it's Booth, I don't think he will be have HIV permanently because then he and Brennan would never ever get together because I wouldn't put her at risk like that.

People actually believe Angela was going to sleep with Booth?! Ha ha. I read something about Ausiello saying last year about how since B&B weren't going going to have sex in S5, Angela and Brennan might since Angela is Bi.

there was a spoiler out pretty early last season ( I think it was actually before the season started airing) that Ang was gonna break her celibacy with someone in the cast, there was much discussion on the boards about who, and Booth was brought up, personally I thought it would be Sweets ( as we all know it ended up being Wendall) But yeah there were those that thought Ang and Booth would go there.

Booth told Brennan he would never betray her. Sleeping with Angela would have crossed that line for both of them.
