Whose going to stick around for S6?

Okay. I have went other fansites last night and this morning and people are so pissed off about the finale that HH and SN are going to be bombarded by an angry mob of fans. Personally, I thought it would be okay as a regular episode, but as a finale, it sucked. There was no sparkle, dazzle or shine to it, it was just Blah. I'm just worried that ratings are going to drop and when we won't get a S7 because the finale was so bad and almost everyone thinks Booth is going come back engaged. I don't really care happens cuz I still watch Bones. But I'm just curious to see if you guys are still in for S6?

I am for surely on for Season 6. I didn't mind the last episode, other than thinking it was just too short! It kind of felt like there was just too many things going on and not enough time to really play anything out to its full potential, not even the hoarder case itself.

Also, as much as I want Booth and Brennan together, they are not the only reason I watch the show. I am interested to see where the show leads after the year long break. I am somewhat afraid about the big change that is apparently coming because I have enjoyed the show since season one and who really knows what the change could mean.

Either way I still love Bones and I will be watching Season 6! Smile

I was one who was displeased with the ending last night and yes I wrote that, but I wouldn't stop watching.
In the back of my mind, I believe there is always hope for these 2 characters. I can't watch a show loyally for 5 years and just because I didn't like a season ending stop watching it. Sweets would agree that would be childlike.
I will be back in September anxiously awaiting their return.
Doesn't mean I still won't voice my opinion when I don't like what I see in their character growth. That's just me.

Two things I'm looking forward to:
That first meeting back after a year...Oh, to be the coffee seller in the cart by the reflecting pool Very Happy

Diggy coming back...you can always count on me ol' pal Diggy to give us a good eppy Razz

In the mean time I'll entertain myself with reading fan fic, making fan vids (I feel another Funny one coming on...Lord knows we need it! Razz

) and then there's always the new Sides coming out...Not for a while yet...but still... Very Happy

Honestly-I don't know. My emotions are high right now due to that finale. I'm just hanging out here today venting and reading everyone's opinions. I'm not even sure at this point if I can bring myself to watch reruns let alone open a 4 month old wound come September. Right now I will plan to check out the spoilers, see if there is anything worth coming back for. Maybe DVR or at the very least watch the season premier online after it airs.
I'm not saying I will watch, I'm not saying I won't. But if I don't, it's not because I didn't get "my" way in how last night went down. I'm just tired of the same old BS. The same old will they/won't they. To me it feels as if the last 5 years was just tossed aside or thrown away. Wash, rinse, repeat, reset. I feel like we, as fans have been jerked around, last night for me, was the straw that broke the camels back.. I'm tired of "everything will happen eventually" and "Nothing happens unless 1st a dream" and "B&B belong together" It's just a ploy, a bunch of lies to feed into what the masses want. I don't expect them to just throw B&B together to please fans. Nor do I want them to do that. All I ask for is reasonable progression. Or at least some truth. I would respect HH a whole hell of alot more if he would just come out and say "We will NEVER put B&B together" I could live with that as long as they put the focus back on the cases and not on the relationships.

But I don't like Bones anymore. So I'm not sure if I'll stick with S6. Maybe not.

I love the ABY as well and I've got no plans to stop watching no matter how screwed up Hart makes it - at least not right now anyway. I will say that it's rapidly dropping from my "Must Watch" list to my "DVR it and catch it later" list. IF I'm not doing InkSlingers next year (and I plan to) I'll watch it early or DVR it, whatever is easiest, but I plan on giving Hart one last season to screw it up.

Yeah, I'm so with you there Mer! Honestly folks, blind faith? That's for God, not Hart Hanson. You can kid yourselves all you want about his plans to get them together, but the man has said repeatedly that he thinks it'd be bad for the show, it'd ruin the ratings, and he won't be pressured into doing so regardless of what the fans want.

That would be the ultimate cheat. To dance around for however many seasons and then in the last 5 minutes of the series they decide to take a shot at romance, but off-screen after the series has ended.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if that is how it will go down. If they even go that far. Series finale will probably go a little something like this: B&B sitting at the Founding Fathers after they've closed their last case, maybe Booth is retiring, he has been in an unsuccessful marriage/relationship that is ending or has recently ended, Brennan has decided to leave the Jeffersonian for good, she FINALLY decides to lay it on the line and tells Booth-hey if we don't work together anymore we can be in a relationship. Booth flashes his charm smile and the screen goes black. End of series. Yeah HH I'm onto you. I know your game. Suspect

The only thing that would make me stop watching is if Booth falls in love with a nurse and Brennan falls in love with a nerdy scientist who doesn't measure up to Booth at all and B&B totally hate each other and there is no chemistry at all. But I really don't think that is going to happen. If this was real life, then they could go their separate ways, fall in love with other people, and never see each other again. But this is Brennan and Booth on fictional tv show called Bones, so they will probably still like each other or have some kind of sexual tension because isn't the whole show about their special bond? And don't think they will completely fall in love with other people because Brennan says she incapable of loving someone and Booth is probably too emotionally crushed to completely fall head over heels in with a girl.

I wouldn't stop watching. As much as people say...."the show will fail if they don't get them together" I am not sure that's true. Just about all my friends watch this show (and have since the beginning.) I only just started this season. Out of all of them, I'm the only one who wants BB together....and together NOW. They could care less. They like it for the forensics....the murder....david b. Emily....ect. They look at me like a crazy freak every week when I'm freaking out. I say this, because while it seems the majority of the fans are BB shippers....especially online...I don't think it is necessarily the case for the whole fan base. Emily even said at comic con that she was shocked at the applause they received when they mentioned them NOT together.

I think if the show sticks with good crime episode like the first 3 seasons and find organic ways to work it into the character development, it will be good. If they go doing odd things next year and changing up the formula too much....then it wont.

I haven't even seen the finale yet. This is very not like me.

It's not so much what happened in the finale therefore (thoroughly spoiled myself anyway), but the whole idea of the time jump.

I don't want to miss a year of any of their lives (including all the Squints). A year is a huge amount of time away from each other. Extra love interests aside, how can they (B/B) come back and be 'the same' as they were before. I don't believe for a second that absence makes the heart grow fonder. In my experience, absence makes the heart forget.

I've felt my interest levels slipping since the 100th. The whole third party love interest thing was handled badly for a start. It kind of went nowhere and was therefore, quite pointless.

I plan to catch the spoilers as they come out, watch them as and when - maybe save up a few for watching all at once, especially if there is more third party nonsense. I've gone from an obsessive episode watcher to a casual fan. I'm not saying they won't hook me back in, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

Oh, I'll be here--both the ABY and for the show..the characters are still appealing, even if the writers and showrunners drive me insane. But I refuse to commit beyond S6!

I was totally angry/underwhelmed/depressed about the finale and the lack of acknowledgment that they will essentially be separated for 365 days.

I'm also 10 times more upset that one of them (Booth most likely) is bringing back a new signifiant other at the start of season 6.

But no matter how annoyed I am that they just keep getting pushed further and further apart.....I'm totally addicted to this show and I could never stop watching.

I may however, just iTunes the first 6 eps and watch them back to back so I can fastforward through all the Booth/SO lovey dovey moments. :/

The lyrics of that song are almost written for Booth and Brennan at the end of this ep, it's so weird!

I suggest everyone listen to it to see what I mean. I've had it on repeat since last night. *sigh*
