Winter Finale?

So no more BONES until Spring? Is that correct?? What is the next air date of new episode? Never heard of a Winter Finale

I think it's April 1st. And it's because of the Olympics.

the olympics aren't even on Fox. Plus they're only like a week or so long.

They don't want to put on shows that would compete with the Olympics because they would not get the viewers and all the advertisers want their ads on the Olympics so it would be a losing situation for FOX and for Bones. I heard that Bones is not coming back sooner because they have an arc planned for the last 8 episodes and wanted to show them without any breaks. So even though we have to wait until April, I have a feeling it will be worth it.

You stole the words out of my mouth, Well except the Go USA part, change USA to CANADA and it's what I would've said! ( it may interrupt the NHL schedule but on the plus side you get olympic hockey!!!)

Networks don't usually air new epi's during the olympics because the ratings are definitely affected by the olympics airing, they don't want to waste new episodes on nights where they know they aren't going to get the viewership that they normally do.

Also that comment about Fox wanting to air the last 8 epi's uninterrupted is true as well ( I think it was ED that was saying that....). There are reasons for the madness

So we all have to wait until April? Hmmmmmm that sucks! Well I do hope it will be wroth it. What you all bet the wait will oh so long, the months will take forever to get through huh LOL. Thanks for letting us know.

Lets not forget about March Madness in March also. I do enjoy the Winter Olympics, not so much the basketball, but it does make April look pretty good. Also great to see the repeats and pick up little bits and pieces I missed the first time around. My hubby likes to ask questions during the show......does it just to aggravate me....says I am a Bones addict.....go figure.
