SWEET! I hate to say it because I was never the biggest fan of the character Zach Addy, but the show does seem to have a little more...Oomph with him.

They would almost have to have him; personally I figure Zack would have joined the lab within a few months of B&B's 1st case, based on ages and comments dropped during S1.

I still can't figure out why they decided to have Eric leave the show as a main character in the first place... It drove me nuts, not a big Zack fan either, but still... Can't break up the team!

Eric was having a lot of health and mental health issues. He is bipolar and HH and Eric came to a mutual agreement that he would leave with the option of having his job awaiting him once he figured out his health.

I think there's a chance, but since the show has such a flow now with Sweets, IMO, I highly doubt it will happen. As far as casting goes, I don't know that they would put Eric and John together, both as regulars. Just because (and yes, Hollywood thinks in these terms) they are the same type, meaning basically that they look too much alike to be acting side-by-side on a top-rated TV show. Would LOVE to see Eric back in a recurring spot though.
