I'M GOING!!! Got my tickets a couple of days ago. SUPER excited! They are a hilarious duo, those two. I think she genuinely enjoys going on the show because it seems to be the only one she has done numerous times. Can't wait!

Yeah, bad news, well, depends. Willi, you are right. Emily is appearing on the show a lot later, on the 8th (though taped on the 29th as originally planned - info read on BY). Not only that, but there might be some problems with David's appearance? According to the said website....but I think I should go to DB's thread to discuss it further.

Get this, the Late Late Show officially requires that you don't bring a cell phone. Can you freaking believe that?! How am I supposed to sneak one in now?! HELP?!

Bring a notebook! And write everything down!

Well, Craig Ferguson was overall, a blast! They started off the show with the musical guest, Duffy, who I had never heard of before. She had an accent (British, I believe?) and her music was actually really cool.

So, after that, the official audience "warm-up guy" came out and did his comedic bit and got us all laughing and "in the mood" for comedy. Then Craig came out and did his monologue and all I can say is...the man is HILARIOUS! He doesn't miss a beat. He did a couple of other bits with e-mails that had been sent in and this woman behind us kept laughing quite annoyingly. I was actually in the front row and I sat right next to the soundbooth and Craig came over during the "commercial break" and asked the soundbooth guy if they would have to cut stuff because of the lady...and apparently, they do.

Anywho, the bits were great and funny and all, but of course, the main attraction was our lovely leading lady, miss Emily Deschanel!

They showed the clip from "Baby In The Bough" where B&B are discussing Brennan's 7-figure advance on the drive to the crime scene. Then of course, he announced "Emily Desschanel" and she came out wearing a cute tannish-goldish dress with short sleeves. It kinda hung off of her. You'll have to see it on the show to know what I mean. She had a gold necklace on and her hair was back in a ponytail and she matched the necklace with gold earrings. And my favorite part of the outfit were her FABULOUS red pumps. They probably gave her 3 inches and made her 6'! She looked absolutely radiant with her subtle makeup with just enough to make her eyes stand out.

Craig started out with showing her the "question card" that he was supposed to use when interviewing her and then he tore it up, causing her (and us) to laugh. He then proceeded to ask her "when was the last time you were here?" She said, "September" and he then asked, "last time we spoke, you were on a vegan diet. Are you still doing that?" She smiled and said, "It's been 15 years, so it's not a stage." That was quite funny. Naturally, he made a joke out of it and proceeded to ask her how she finds anything good to eat and "how can you go without cheese?" or something like that. She replied that there are vegan cheeses that are actually "quite good now" and he joked that that was no way to sell the vegan lifestyle, "oh, this cheese doesn't taste like"...something, I can't remember! But it was funny. She went on to say that there are great foods that are "cheese-like" and even suggested a vegan place to eat in L.A. (Perhaps I'll try it!) Madeline's, I believe.

Oh, the best part was when he asked her how much money she made. She looked quite shocked, but the reason for him asking the question had to do with the clip from Bones. He was relating Brennan to her and therefore asked her how much money she makes. She responded with "do you really want me to answer that?" She mentioned that she was definitely making more money than she did before "Bones." He had something witty to say and she responded and it was funny.

Then, he moved on to asking her if she knew the bones of the body. Yeah, yeah, same old questions she always gets. She told a story about when she was at a Dodgers game recently and a ball hit a man in the "hyoid" bone, which is located in the neck. Since she had learned about it due to her character, she became quite anxious and concerned about the man and his condition while nobody else understood that he was in pain. Apparently, everything was fine, but because of her gained knowledge from the show, she experienced unwanted anxiety. She also mentioned that she was behind home plate at the game and Craig said "so, you do have money" and she just smiled and kept on going with her story. Craig then asked her if she could help him if he broke his leg. To which she of course responded, "No" and everyone cracked up.

And the next best part was the discussion of the mistletoe kiss. He mentioned the sexual tension between B&B (as he always does) and he asked (again) if they had "made out" on the "Bonio show." That was his new nickname for the show. She said "there was a kiss." He then asked her how it was to kiss an actor over and over again, take after take, and then not actually feel anything for that person. He literally asked her how she didn't fall in love during a kiss. She laughed and proceeded to explain that she has never fallen in love with a fellow actor after kissing them. So he asked her if she fell in love with anyone BEFORE kissing them. Smart ass. She laughed again and dealt with it in her charming Emily way. Then, she finally mentioned that she and David only kissed once. And she mentioned that it was a tough day on the set that day. She used a specific word to describe it and of course, now I can't remember.

She was perfectly poised the entire time and she was ready for anything he threw at her. During some of her stories, she would hit his desk and then she realized that she had been doing it and then smacked his desk a few times in a row and he responded with something witty. Let me just say that her smile is absolutely infectious. Every time she smiled, I found my lips curving up, even at the smallest things. She seems like an absolute genuine person.

Once she was done, she got up and waved to the audience, smiled, and left...and that was it. I know I am probably forgetting something or another that was said, but there was so much and it was exciting and fabulous and my brain can't take it ALL in! There is still debate over what night Emily will actually appear on the show. We THINK it is May 8th, but that's not a definite. P.S. When the show DOES air, after the end of Emily's interview, the camera pans away and you can see her and Craig on the stage and you can also see part of the audience. In the middle of the screen and slightly to the right, there are 2 seats by themselves and you can see the backs of the heads of the 2 people...that is me and my husband. I have blonde hair, he has sandy brown. We're clapping and our hands are kinda in the air. I don't know if you'll be able to see, but that's what the monitor showed, so check it out!
