Hey, good question. It wasn't elaborated in any episode, that I know, really. Angela already referred to Brennan as best friend in the Pilot. But it's good to have a discussion on it. I, myself, have speculations, but we have to urge the writers to tackle on that in the future, hopefully.

Thanks for the response. I think it could be explored in the show or maybe more in a fanfiction (I got hooked this past summer at the Fox site!).
