Any Chicago/Wi/IN people
I think it would be fun to meet up and have lunch in Chicago.
I'm posting this at the BY as well so some may see it twice.
I suggested this a few months ago and things kind of fell to the wayside.
For me December 12th works best as far as by the end of the year.
After the new year my weekends are pretty much flexible. But we all know January gets dicey here.
Also am still working on putting together something for Comicon 2010.

Also Evanston could be interesting. Since it where Kathy Reichs and Bones went to college! (and me too, and Yankees manager Joe Girardi and Phillies pitcher JA Happ and David Schwimmer etc-can you tell I am proud to be a Northwestern alum?)

I wouldn't mind. At the moment, my calender is open, but things do change as we creep closer to Christmas. Accessible by public transit (yeah, yeah, yeah, CTA--bleah!) and relatively inexpensive would be my only criteria.

Re: Any Chicago/Wi/IN people
All are welcome.
Would be fun to a lunch for mostly local now and maybe plan something this summer.
I also am working on putting together something for Comicon 2010 which I hope to have ready by December 1st. My friend in San Diego who has been helping me has a wonderful reason to be sidetracked so she hooked me with someone else to help me.
She and her husband have just been approved to adopt a child and are going through the final paperwork so I understand her being a little sidetracked!

Re: Any Chicago/Wi/IN people
I was thinking first of the year. Just found out the hubby has to go out of town on business the 10th through the 19th so might make December goofy. Where do you live in the area?

NW side of the city--edge of Dunning and Portage Park neighborhoods, if you're familiar with them.
And the new year might indeed be better--no worries about Christmas lead-ins.

I live in Park Ridge so we're pretty close.
