He's still looking drab. no cocky belt buckle yet

He's still regulation! Wonder how long it'll take for him to go back to the colorful?

Just trying to figure out what he's holding the gun with in the one shot. And in another the Squints are all wearing those plastic aprons and I can't remember if they've all done so in the past. Cam usually does. And is that a cross hanging from her necklace or am I seeing things?
And his shoes...hmmm...don't remember those. On the other hand, I can't remember what he wore in S4, either.

That's me--just looking for the little details!

Can I just ask...No belt buckle, no flashy socks...but has the FBI relaxed it's attitude towards NOT wearing formal shoes with your regulation suit?????

Or is this just David coming out in sympathy with Emily? Broken toe, comfy shoes?
(Things like this drive me utterly INSANE! Go back and watch the last part of Con Man...Just after Booth gets up off his bar stool to go and get Jared for a little "Chat" outside...Look down at Booth's feet...what's he got on? Sneakers! And Voila! When he emerges from the FF to talk with Jared outside...Oh! Look! Normal BoothShoes! Continuity Ahhhhhhhh! .... )

looks like at least the hair is back to normal
maybe slightly shorter than usual.....but I'm not sure about that

and I really don't care about the shoes.....if he walks fine in them.....I had no idea, that FBI-agents had to wear certain shoes.....but it might be possible.....

Has he just got a normal pen too, instead of the stripper pen?

I miss non-regulation Booth. The hair's a bit better though.

Waaaaaaay back in S1, he sometimes wore black & white sneakers or gymshoes or whatever you want to call them. Not the really fancy ones, the basic ones. I figured it had something to do with his feet having been broken while he was a POW. Never saw them again. Maybe these are supposed to be for comfort or support or something like that.

And I would imagine there is a certain dresscode that includes shoes for FBI office work. The tie, socks, and belt buckle would be the equivalent of a woman wearing flashy jewelry with a relatively staid suit in the office. That's usually not covered, unless it gets too far out there.

I just had a thought, Booth didn't get really flashy until season 2, when Brennan had a serious romantic interest. Anyone else remember the "I'm gonna need a flashier tie" comment after Brennan tells him about her and Sully??? And we know that this season Brennan goes on a date w/an FBI dude that isn't Booth SO purhaps then we'll start to see some flashier stuff around that time....
