Zooey on Bones?

It’s the on-screen pairing Bones fans have been waiting for. No, not Booth and Brennan — Emily and Zooey! Bones is talking to Emily Deschanel’s movie-star sis, Zooey, about guest-starring this December!
“We’ve been looking for an opportunity to get the Deschanel girls together,” notes exec producer Hart Hanson, “but Zooey’s rockin’ career kept getting in the way.”
Assuming the scheduling can be worked out this time around, Hanson wants the star of this summer’s indie smash (500) Days of Summer to play (natch) a relative of Brennan’s. “We alluded to [her] having a cousin in Minnesota two seasons ago. I’d very much like to meet her in the Christmas episode.”

hmmm so Brennan gets more family and it's on a Christmas episode??? It'll be a Christmas MIRACLE!!! LOL this would be all kinds of awesome!

Personally, I'm just glad they're not making her a love interest.
It's starting to sound a bit more concrete that she'll be on. Not definite, but it's still good to hear. We finally get to meet some of Brennan's other relatives, and if it's at Christmas? Well, that's even better.

When did they specify a Minnesota relative? I figured there had to be more than just 2 aunts and a grandmother out there, and always did think a cousin was the perfect role for Zooey to play.
I love the northwoods... Regina, do you know where Itasca Co is? Grand Rapids, etc? I've got relatives up there and spent some vacation time up there. *sigh* Didn't get there this year, though.

Absolutely! Such a lovely place - I'm lucky to be here. It will be even prettier in the coming weeks, with the autumn color. Come and visit anytime!
