2009 Fox Summer TCA

Here's a little bit of spoilers for Season 5 from E!Online. I'm sure there will be more showing up on other sites too.

It starts out ...
We're all past the Booth/Bones season finale hookup debacle, right? Great. Let's move onto the next important Bones question at hand: So, uh, David, how's your brain?

"And," chimed in David, "it makes me want to reinvest my time and energy into a relationship because I don't remember certain things that now we're back to ground zero again. We're even worse than ground zero."

I don't like the sound of it...

wow, interesting news. i like they way stephen nathan put it about how it technically was real for Booth and Brennan. That way of thinking makes it make sense about the dream actually being real to Booth or Brennan.

and I'm looking forward to seeing Booth struggle with simple everyday things he used to know.

Perhaps they did this coma storyline to basically try and reinvent Booth's relationship with Brennan without totally wiping it clean because Brennan still remembers everything well.

I have to agree about the hat--I loathe that style on him!

It also sounds as though we still don't have a permanent assistant/intern yet.

I'm kinda looking forward to season 5, I'm a huge B/B shipper but I think that this whole thing with Booth if done right could make for some very intresting dynamics between the two of them this season.

I am also a big B&B shipper and I too am looking forward to season 5. I agree that some very interesting dynamics could come about in this upcoming season.

At the Fox lot, first stop was “Bones,” crammed into a generic FBI office to hear David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel explain and flaunt their chemistry. More of same due for fall. It wouldn’t matter how much Fox spent on a set, these two know how to play together. (emphasis is mine!)

I'd be sad to see Nigel Murray go. There's a few I could see gone, the middle eastern guy, I don't like that he makes sound effects for everything. Also Clarke, considering he says that he wants to be anywhere but there, he always shows back up. My three faves are Nigel Murray, Emo Guy (Can't remember his name) and Wendell.

Neither do I. They are giving me ZERO reasons to wanna watch next season. STILL no B&B hook up and now Booth isn't even gonna be Booth anymore? What's the point? I invested 4 years of my time into loving this show only to have these morons in charge change my favorite character into what sounds like a sad shadow of his former self? No thanks.

Maybe I'm reading about this in the wrong way, but it seems to me like maybe this could work in our favor. Yes, worse than ground zero sounds bad, but think about it:

Booth has had over four years (almost five I suppose) to try and make his move. He held himself back in the beginning, then some things happened, but it's been pretty clear for a while now that he at least felt something for Brennan. However, whatever his reasons were for never acknowledging it or saying anything, he never did.

Now, obviously with him not knowing things it'll make it harder. But here's the thing: Which is worse, not remembering ANYTHING about a person and your relationship with them...or knowing who the person is, but not remembering all of the little things-how she takes her coffee, the perfume she wears, traditions at the ends of cases-that make you both who you are? Honestly, it's those small things that Booth doesn't remember that make he and Brennan who they are as partners, friends, and possibly more. I think, if done right, this could be the perfect set up to actually bring them together rather than pull them apart.

That's not my take on it at all. I figure that Booth is Booth whether he remembers himself or not. Right? Like, even if you have brain surgery, you still like spaghetti if you liked spaghetti.

My take on it is ... this time when he discovers all these feelings all over again, he already has a target in mind. Bones as his wife, from his coma-dream. And we all know what snipers do with targets - they get 'em! So this time we'll have a chance to see this unfold something like it should have in the first place!

Okay, call me naive, optimistic, or hopelessly romantic if you want to. But a girl can dream, can't she?? Can't she?? Please.

Gardenias, I missed your post at the top of this page before I posted mine. We're kinda on the same page! I like!!

Would love to see the two of them on the set when they're off camera and joking with each other. That's one reason I love "Bloopers" or "Behind the scenes" pics or vids

While chatting with "Bones" creator Hart Hanson at the FOX TCA party, he spilled that Booth and Brennan's original psychiatrist will be making a return appearance to the show.

I read the article, and it mentioned something about a Christmas Show.

Hart told us. "It may be [for] the Christmas show....if it's the Christmas show, he's the perfect guy to come back."

Does this mean that there will be another Christmas episode??? I personally am kinda hoping for a New Year's episode.

Yeah Hart made a mention on his twitter about it too. I hope there's christmas sex, that'd be awesome!
