Well Fly, finishing at the top doesn't mean anything when you get smoked in 4 games by the 8th ranked team because Emery will shit the bed like he ought to do in a few weeks anyway. How many washed up goalies can a team have? Besides, douchebaggery can only get a team so far, so when Pronger gets suspended for the 30th time and injures his elbow by smashing it in some guy's face, there goes 8 million dollars right there. Then Danny Briere's infamous groin will decide to act up. Gagne's sniping shoulder will fall off, the Flyers will trade away all young talent to bring in some old washed up defender to lead you to the cup who will ultimately ruin your playoff run by turning over the puck in the decisive game 7. SAnd when Holmgrem and Sather decide to vacation together at the Best GM Resort, there will be some rather unfortunate boating accident that will leave the two becoming GMs in basketball, the sport that no one really cares about.
