Yes it is... though I think Don't Stop Believin', Keep Holding On, and Somebody to Love are also equally outstanding.

Have to say as a huge Gleek I still like Defying Gravity musical version better. With musical version I STILL (after over a year of listening) get goosebumps.... because Idina's voice is just something wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy too powerful....that lacks in Glee version.
But as a Wicked Witch Of The West I do admit I have too big love for Elphaba's character, idina's portraying of Elphaba and what that song means to me personally...so i am not really objective.

I can listen to music before the store opens and if I work in the back room... So most days I get a good two hours of my shift... I'd go insane if I didn't listent to music then too... it's they only thing that keeps me working I think.
I didn't ever think it was possible for me to like any other version of Defying Gravity... but I might like the Glee version better... because I LOVE LOVE LOVE the arrangement. Don't get me wrong the Broadway version with Kristen and Idina is AMAZING and I do LOVE it... But there is something magical about what they made it into as well.

i think that to compare them doesn't really do either of them any favours. Dudes. I don't even watch this show. But it's playing on the background and it's totally breaking my heart. I don't even know their names (I know Lea Michelle) but the guy singing "Defying Gravity?" Wow. Just WOW.
