Animal Free Products
Since this had become a small off shoot of the puppy mill thread I thought I would post about the products I use/know of here:
LUSH: stores across North America and can order online or by phone. Has vegetarian/vegan/safe synthetic products. Shower gels, soaps, bath ballistics, facial care, hair care, etc. Smells awesome. The guy who started LUSH used to work for the Body Shop.

BNever Too Busy to be Beautiful: LUSH' sister company that deals more with makeup, perfume. Vegan/Vegetarian/Animal friendly products. I haven't used these products...I just know about them since I use LUSH.

Re: Animal Free Products
Avalon organics has some pretty good stuff. They are all vegan and the price is not insane. Also, the Ylang-Ylang body was has a fantastic smell.
As for make up: I don't wear much but I know Aveda has a pretty good range of products. The only thing is, if you're a vegan, ask about beeswax because they do use it so just to be on the safe side. Personally, I've used the inner light pressed powder and it's worked pretty well. Other than that, I love Zuzu lip-glosses: They're vegan and they are neither too thick nor too "greasy", an experience I'd had before with other brands.
And I have to agree about Lush. I love just going into the stores.

Re: Animal Free Products
I was just thinking about doing this, CB! Here is a link to a list of a bunch of cruelty-free brands. Not all of them are vegan, but some list which products of theirs ARE vegan.

I had NO idea that Urban Decay cosmetics was cruelty-free and partially vegan. I am ditching my current makeup because most of it isn't cruelty-free.

I've actually wondered that too! Also, what kind of makeup she uses. I know she uses something by Laura Mercier, but I can't remember what and if that's the main brand she uses. I don't see Laura Mercier on the list of cruelty-free products, so I don't know. But yeah, I have wondered that myself! Now that I'm going cruelty-free, I *really* want to ask her what she uses!
