LOL! Not crazy about those either, but will eat sometimes.
You ever eat at Pappadeux's Seafood. Not sure if spelling is right.
that's the time that I did like lobster... when we went to a little shack near a harbor that made lobster soup... had to wait because the boat hadn't yet returned from fishing, so it went from the boat to the soup to my belly. and it was AMAZING. Later we had lobster on pizza and it was also delicious. (also I tried whale. which tasted just like bland steak).

You don't get any of those three down here. La Porchetta I guess is our version of Olive Garden and we have Taco Bill's. I try not to eat at either.
They had Taco Bells and no one went to them. Then they tried attaching them to Pizza Huts, and the Pizza Huts that also had a Taco Bell, their sales fell over 70%, so in the end, they just gave up.
are you kidding? the taco hut combo is awesome! As is Dunkin Robbins!

Taco Hut. Pizza Bell. Pizza Taco. Yeah, can see the marketing problems there.jonezn4Bones wrote:Toward the mid 90's - Pepsi bought Taco Bell and Pizza Hut and got the less than brilliant idea of trying to combine them . . .squirtandmilo wrote:A2BOREANAZ wrote:dont blame you grub..........cant stand taco bell.............blech.......and double triple yucksquirtandmilo wrote:jonezn4Bones wrote:I can't do the Red Lobster thing - that is the seafood equivalent of Olive Garden for Italian or Taco Bell for Mexican food . . .

I won't take the boys there either..they get little kid prices, but never eat enough to make it worth it. Though my oldest loves Steamed Clams and Mussels. Plus they are just as happy with Mickey D's. So I will take the cheapness for now and save the good stuff for me!

I have two Icelandic friends and they turn up with dried fish and the occassional putrefied fish. It smells rank. I won't even taste it, the smell makes me feel so ill.
But they love it!

Urgh. Better this morning. I was all hyper and happy when I went home and last night was just shitty. Ruined my whole day.
Dad was in one of his fantastic moods and just smashed his way around the house all night, so I just cleaned my room and the bathroom and went to bed. Easier that way. And then this morning everything was back to normal.
