Sorry...I gave it a 5, but I just can't say why right now...I'm too totally excited...

Hands down a big whopping FIVE!!

I think that was the best freakin' episode EVER and I'm so glad that they are finally delving into Booths past. I liked the introduction of Jared, and he is such a jackass, but he's wicked good, so I'm thinking another Cam....we will probably end up loving him.

I thought it was balanced, the case though WAY at the back was still good.

I loved that Clark was back, and Cam kicked ass, as did Angela and Hodgins. I thought Sweets was perfect, and of course Booth and Bones.

The Awww moment at the end......I need some time Bones.

Time and space?

Just time.

And then they share cake.....that ROCKS!!

I can't wait for next week it looks AMAZING!!

Everything I was missing in this season was "fixed" in this episode. This was fantastic!

Gave it a 5, gotta agree best so far of the season. I think also a five, because I was so holding my breath thinking the whole Brennan/Jared thing was going to be so much more than it turned out to be---so happy when she tipped his chair over at the bar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Loved the whole sharing thing with Booths past, helps explain so much more about his character. Cant say enough great things about this episode!!!!! Loved it, loved it, loved it. I really hope SOMEONE will write a great fanfic because of this episode!!!!!!!!

Loved it! Must watch again. Hate Jared, Loved all the cast especially Brennan and Booth, they were awesome.

This was a solid 5... no, actually it was a wavery 5 because I wish I could have given it a higher score. It was perfect. PERFECT!

And it was so nice to see some Butt-Kickin' Brennan! Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really loved this episode. I gave it a 5. The writing and acting was superb. Both David and Emily were outstanding.

THIS IS THE BEST EPI. Don't know the future yet, but this is the best epi. YEE...

wow! definitely a 5.0 episode... I'm quite speechless but you guys already said it all - great character development, awesome B/B scenes, excellent acting by the whole cast, especially David (no surprise here), interesting case... this is the show I love in all its glory

Okay, I just watched it again, and I must say that after the scene in the lab with Clark and a totally great looking, dressed up Bones, I'm liking Clark more... Haha, I missed his little comment and look last night, I must have been typing or something, but...yeah, okay, I like him a lot better now...that really made me laugh. lol

I gave it a 5 just because she came back and pushed him out of the chair. That... was hilarious! It was by far the best episode of the season so far!

i didn't think it was the best episode, but it was good. i gave 4.5

Awesome episode - ED and DB totally rocked

Definitely the best episode this season. 4.5 from me. Don't ask me why I don't gave 5... I just felt more like 4.5... maybe because it had to end, maybe because it didn't make me cry...
Frankly, though I liked this season I feared that they won't get up to the high Bones standards from earlier seasons again.
But then came this episode. I was totally left off guard.
I expected slapstick and jealousy, a story that would have earned 3.5, but I didn't expect this.
I never had this expression that Brennan really had a crush on Jared, she felt attracted to him, but that's not necessarily the same. Imo she wanted o get to know more about Booth. Okay, she let him kiss her (no tongue involved, yay... and it didn't came from her, yay), but Cam and Angela got it right from the beginning.
I didn't like Jared when he first talked bad about Booth with Brennan, but then when he crashed that car and it was obvious that Booth would've to sacrifice something for his brother, he was on my 'hate-list' (that I only started a few weeks ago to bother a friend of mine).
The loser-scene was so intense. I wanted to scream at her to say sth, but she didn't and it was obvious how much she did hurt him... but even more what they mean to each other when Booth left the room and shortly after she after him. Both looks on their faces were killing me and frankly, I've been on the edge of crying (like in most of the Booth/Brennan scenes after that).
When Cam revealed during their intervention ("are you my loved ones" ^^) that Booth's father was not only alcoholic, but also abusive, it was definitely a unpleasant surprise. And it shattered my Bones-world as I knew it to pieces. All these fanfics I read where Brennan meets Booth's parents who are characterized as nice people are not realistic... This is devastating.
Brennan's conversation with Jared afterwards (and when she broke my heart not answering Booth's call) was great. The look on her face showed how she wasn't only angry with Jared, but also hurt that she doubted Booth before. And of course her hitting him had me cheering.
Finally, the last five minutes where just perfect, along with the scenes of the arrest...
btw, am I very desperate? A few times during this episode I had the impression that Booth and Brennan are going to kiss. Probably because Jared asked Brennan if Booth had ever kissed her.

Okay, she let him kiss her (no tongue involved, yay... and it didn't came from her, yay), but Cam and Angela got it right from the beginning.

And I was so relieved that Brennan was not into this kiss at all like the promo had me believed.
