Thanks for the pics! Got to say, imo, he does nothing for me at all! Nope! He is way way 'too' young looking or something & bears no resemblance to to Booth/David at all *shrugs* I am disappointed with the casting. Yep! Just my 2 cents but heck what do i know

Somehow he reminds me of Richard Gere in "An Officer and a Gentleman". Must be the white uniform. But I would definitely not call that smile a Booth charm smile!!!!

We know, NO ONE holds a candle to Seeley Booth BUT at least come up with someone who flickers slightly beside him

Sooooo... I think Jared looks quite OK, probably even good, if you like this kind of men, it's a matter of taste, BUT he is surely no competition for Booth, Booth is so much better.

I agree with Mereva. But he has got that charm that Booth has too, i think. They suppose to be brothers ...

Agree. Jared looks like a "pretty boy". Where Seeley Booth is ruggedly handsome. Breannan might like Jared but her heart is reserved for his brother.
Oh and Seeley's smile is much better than Jared's. But then really, who on the show or any other actor for that matter, can compare smiles with David Boreanaz? Not many.

Whether Jared is as hot or not, there is no question who is better, but I guess our fears for Jared are really coming true. According to information released about the episode on Futon critic.com it says that Brennan is "smitten with Jared" agrees to go on a date. So I guess she is really bowled over by the guy... Not to jump the gun but its the same old story with her as it sounds as of now...

I soooo HATE all the third parties. First Jared, then Agent Blondie... YUCK!

On the second thought... may be they mean by the 'date' this gala (or what was it?) that Jared needed an escort for... if so, that is not really a date.

If Jared is for serious (for whatever length of time) with Brennan despite what he does in the episode (DUI and all) then I am up for Booth with Perotta because if you validate Brennan needs to find her own way when it comes to Booth, so I guess this seems to be the case with Booth too. There is nothing wrong with Booth being attracted to the agent...

personally, I think Jared will be good. He's practically Booth but with an even more cocky attitude and he's more straightforward. Brennan liking him just kind of proves to herself that she probably just likes Booth, but this is her way of getting a taste of him without actually having to date him because of the complications of them working together. So her being a very logical women, she probably believes this is the most functional way of figuring out what it would be like to be close to someone like Booth.

But, I think she's going to find that Jared and Booth are very different from each other (mainly by the way the operate and tiny things) that Brennan fails to catch on to because she likes to just look at the biological and science things. Which biologically Booth and Jared (being brothers) are very close in that respect.

I'm taking 'smitten' to mean 'a font of useful information that I didn't know about my partner before'??? (Look at me being wildly optimistic! )
And Brennan & Jared's date? Outing? Social experiment?....Well apart from the kiss *brushes the kiss swiftly under the rug*...they spend the rest of the time talking about BOOTH! Heh! THAT should tell ol' white clad suit boy a thing or two????
