Cast politics.

So in light of the 08 elections i think it'd be fun to see what political party each actor would classify under. This isn't to be turned into an arguement over which candidate is best suited for the position this is just to see what you all would classify the actors under. For instance heres my thoughts:

Emily Deschanel: She's Green Party but will most likely vote Democrat.
David Boreanaz: I would probably say Conservative, but i don't him as well as some of you guys might.
John Francis Daley: His Uncle was the democratic mayor of Chicago, So i'll go with Democrat.
Michaela Conlin: I would say Democrat.
TJ Thyne: I would say conservative.
Eric Millegan: He's gay. I've never met a gay conservative before, so i'll say liberal.
Tamara Taylor: I don't know her all that well, But i 'll go with liberal.

Please respect that i do not want this to turn into a political debate. Don't say anything that will start an argument, please. Just use your knowledge of each actor to guess what political party they would fall under. Like I know Emily's "democrat" because she's a vegan, an animal supporter, and an environmentalist. Since thats one thing the Democratic party stands by, that would be the most logical guess for Emily. Though i read she is Green Party.

As a political science major (one of many), I can tell you that most people within the entertainment industry, meaning Hollywood, are liberal. I also do not want to turn this into a political debate, I am just saying the facts. Granted there are exceptions to this rule, but you would be hard pressed to find too many conserative actors.

Political Scientists feel that this may be attributed to the vast array of people actors and the like meet on a daily basis.

Anyhoo, I would have to say that all of them would probably vote democrat, but many factors contribute to why a person picks a particular presidental candidate, so it is hard to be 100% sure.

So why is that that most actors are liberal? I would have guessed otherwise, but thats just me.

Anyways, thats interesting that you share that.

Most people in Hollywood are Democrat/liberals, so I'd guess Democrat for each and every one of them.

(I lean toward the Republican sector, myself.)

I would like to think that we can all share our points of view here without being judged. After all we have so many members from different parts of the country and the world that we are all entitled to our opinion (however different they may be)

I know that politics is a subject that can get peeps riled up and all; but I always thought discussions were healthy as long as they don't turn personal.

If I've offended anybody with this I apologize. But those were my 2 cents; whether they are valued or not.

I only said what side I generally vote for because I think that we're all generally accepting of one anothers' views on here. When I was pregnant with my daughter, I was on a mom's board for a while and no matter what you said, they would totally eat you alive--spanking, breastfeeding, bottlefeeding, Christian, Atheist, Republican, Democrat--there was always someone who was really negative toward you. I only mentioned it because I was confident that nobody would have me for breakfast...with a side of eggs and bakey.
