There's only a handful of us that talk while everybody else listens, claire. They wait for us to entertain them so we run through a bunch of topics trying to get their attention. There's no give and take.

Painful. I'm sorry that happened. But, I know it will never happen, again. A feeling of humiliation in something where you thrive feels terrible but you will come back stronger. It will probably boost your confidence for performance. I've always felt more pressure in practice among my choir mates than anywhere else.
How wise you are. Stronger? No way. Thought you knew me - at least to some extent.

I know that you take failure as I do - horribly. But you are by no means a quitter or stupid and you will get some distance and a little perspective and be even better. I have no doubt whatsoever.
