ah, evolution versus creationism? futile argument.... you can't change people's fixed believes, I guess.
there's an awesome simpsons-epi on that topic
but still don't get it..I respect other people's beliefs...if they want God...be my guest..doesn't bother me....but why are they bothered because I want Darwin? ..don't get it!

Kindergarten is like a creche for older kids. Normally for 3-5year olds, getting them ready for school...

Hi Fly - Bye, Cheese.
It's 6am for me and I got about 4 hours sleep as usual. But, I shot straight out of bed. (In all the excitement I forgot to say Hi, My Mary)

People who want respect and tolerance for their beliefs but then can't give that respect back really annoy me.

I can only tell you that my faith teaches me that we are all to share God's story with others...I share, but I don't push. Maybe your friend or whoever is just concerned about you. We believe in heaven, and that we will go there someday, and those that don't will live in hell, so I'm sure they just don't want to see you spend your eternity there. And I'm not preaching, I'm just trying to explain how that person might feel and why they are discussing it with you. I mean, if you believed in your heart that someone was doing something that would cause them pain and grief, you'd try to say something to help, wouldn't you?karlia wrote:I know...I have seen the epi!CheeseBK wrote:karlia wrote:that didn't workCheeseBK wrote:karlia wrote:my headache is back...

Oh that was a great find, I can't remember exactly what I was looking for when I found that but it was seriously cool.
I won "most likely to become a serial killer" in English last year because I made the mistake of reading a book on geographic profiling during class.

I mean. I am Anglican, not Atheist. I believe in God (or I like to think I do) I want heaven to be true. I just can't accept the bibles theory of how the earth was created. Even know it is sort of a fundamental. Who gives.

Well, karlia, that's where she's wrong...you can't push. Actually, that works with everything, as I've learned. Gotta tell people things and let them draw there own conclusions, no matter how sad it may be to accept.

We are doing Evolution in Bio at the moment. And genetics and all that, and I keep annoying my teacher cause she explains stuff, and I either correct her by going into to much detail, or asking her questions about all this complex stuff she has no idea about and confusing the rest of the class. Too funny!
