I will investigate in the morning. Must be a glitch. Night!

So you're wrapping up the school year and what sinister plans have you made for after that?

School year? I wish. We are only half way though it! Gosh! For it to be the end of the year!

Yeah. I would hate to have summer in the middle of the year. How disappointing to come back to school after New Years and realise that you are still in the same grade as last year...

Yup. That's how we do it. Go to school in Fall (September) and get out May/June just in time for Summer.

Such a depressing thought. It makes so much more sense to have your school year and calender year the same. Much easier too.

I believe that it was set up this way for industrial purposes. Dewey, who provided us with the Dewey decimal system for organizing library books, also proposed that children respond to schedule changes in school so they would be conditioned like Pavlov's dogs to respond to the factory whistle as adults.

Since the school system also started where our colonies and states began - the east coast I think it made sense to arrange all schedules with the planting and harvesting seasons. That's why it splits the New Year.

So do you remember the scene where Steve Carrell gets his chest hair torn off in "the 40 Year Old Virgin?" I had no where near as painful a situation, today, but the same results.

I look like a patchwork quilt from where they had the electrodes to monitor my heart while I ran on treadmill. Looks like I'll live so now I have to make plans past the weekend.

Ick. Ew. Waxing freaks me out. In the movie he actually got a waxing and never tested it before they shot the scene so his reactions aren't acting. Because it hurt more than expected they didn't finish and he was patches of fur and skin. Looked a little like a smiley face.

Mine is just about a dozen squares the size of square sugar packets all over the place.

Ha-ah! Laughing

Waxing is so much better than shaving. *Shudders* It hurts for like a second, then you don't have to do it again for another six weeks.

I can see where not getting cut by a blade has its advantages. But tearing hair out isn't appealing. I'll stay a hairy guy, thank you very much.
